G Series Quick Start Guide
It is highly recommended to use the latest version of Remote Programming Software (RPS) with
the G Series Panel available from au.boschsecurity.com. You will also need a D5370–USB Key.
DEFAULT Master PIN (User 1) = 123456 To ENTER programming = CODE (123) then select [ENTER]
DEFAULT INSTALLER PIN (User 0) = 123 To EXIT programming = Hold down ESC key
PANEL BASICS
EOL: Zones:
This panel supports Single EOL = 1.0K ohm Zones on this panel are called POINTS.
in SERIES. NO SPLIT EOL Panel supports up to 599 Points.
This panel supports Dual EOL = 1.0 K ohm Main panel supports 8 x ONBOARD Points. (1 to 8)
in SERIES/1.0K ohm in PARALLEL. Panel supports up to 59 x 8 input zone expanders
Point expansion is by module or also with some other components.

(Zonex/D8125 and POPEX components are NOT used in Australia)
A POINT also has a POINT INDEX or PROFILE of how it will work.
Up to 32 types of Point Index Profiles. Each with 34 different programmable settings.
Each Point Index number sets HOW the panel will respond when specific conditions occur on this point.
Numerous settings can be configured for each Point Index.

SERVICE MODE:
ACTIVATE: Press and HOLD the RESET Button on panel for 5 seconds
Heartbeat LED: Quick Flashes Codepads say SERVICE MODE Enter Installer Code.
Options are: Install Menu/View Log/Revisions/RPS
EXIT from Service Mode: Hold RESET button 5 seconds:
Heartbeat LED will flash numerous times and panel will reset to normal after 15 seconds
Heartbeat LED returns to normal slow flashing.

Firmware Upgrade: Use Firmware Upgrade Wizard in RPS
Firmware Upgrade will take approx. 15 mins to complete via IP
Firmware must be downloaded and extracted (file will be an .fwr file)
Create a folder on your pc called G Series Firmware.
Firmware will be downloaded (approx. 15 mins via IP) and then Implemented to panel (approx. 2mins)
RPS will disconnect and re-connect at end of this time.

Needs B901 Access Module to have Door (up to 32 supported = 32 Doors) 1 module per Door

• Strike Time: (default = 10 secs) 0 to 240 secs
Activates on: Valid Token/Request to Enter/REX or Cycle Door Function
• Shunt Time: (default = 10 secs) 0 to 240 secs
Amount of time Door can be opened without causing a Trouble/Alarm/Fault on
the Door Point
• Extend Time: (default = 10 secs)
Prolongs Strike/Buzz and Shunt when shunt time expires and Door still open.
At end of Extend Time buzzer continues until Door closed.
If set, point assigned DOOR indicates Trouble/Alarm/Fault at keypad.
Generates a “Trouble – Door left Open” event if Area disarmed.

Yes = Strike deactivates when door opened on valid access granted request
No = Strike will remain activated for Strike programmed time whether door
opened or closed
