I. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Collin’s Premium Scents will offer a pleasant and desirable
scent to a person’s body, typically with the aim of increasing self-
appeal and self-confidence. Historical data shows that there is an
increasing demand for perfume among the area around Hilongos.
However, the existing 5 big competitors are not able to meet
demand resulting to a big gap. This means that there is a big
unmet demand of the market in perfumes. Our goal is to fill
something to meet the desired demand. One of our primary
strategies is to offer customers variety of options for choosing
their own scents of perfumes. Perfumes will be offered in various
scents/flavors to give customers options. Our business will be
initially operating as a home-based enterprise and will use social-
media platforms (like Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok) to
advertise the scents and flavors of the perfume. Customers may
have the options to pick up the products or have it delivered at
their convenience. Collin’s Premium Scents has several elegant
and sophisticated scents that will be used to its advantage to
penetrate market.
Initial capitalization for the business is Php 372,551 good
for one-month expense. Expected revenue for 1 year is Php
45,000 while total cost for goods sold amounted to Php
1,054,653.

A. Purpose of the Product


Collin’s Premium Scents will offer the resident of Hilongos a
good and impressive perfume with variety of option for choosing
their own perfume. There are different flavors/scents to choose
from our shop. Our perfume is used to give a pleasant and
desirable scent to a person’s body, typically with the aim of
increasing self-appeal and self-confidence.

B. Products Unique Features


Collin’s Premium Scents shows its unique fragrance. The
first is the whole variety of flavors/scents that customers can
choose from. They can select the flavor they want. The second is
the packaging and the freebies. This is the best for some teenager
who are fashionable and be confident in their smell.

D. PRODUCTION PROCESS AND CONTROLS THAT WILL BE

Below is the process in making perfume

Step 1: Get the INGREDIENTS & OTHER STUFF


Step 2: Prepare the Bottles.
Step 3: Measure the ¼ cup of Vodka/Everclear and pour into jar.
Step 4: A note about scents.
Step 5: Add your scents. Take one scent;
*add a few drops * add more or continue
* swirl * write down the oil and number
* small of drops
Step 6: Let it age
Aging your fragrance allows the scents to mingle and
also become stronger.
Step 7: Add water and Glycerine
Step 8: Finishing up
 Pour the perfume into your bottle, use a funnel if
you need to. If you are using clear bottles, you will
need to cover them with aluminum foil or wrapping
paper (your fragrance needs to be protected from the
light or it will go off).
Step 9: Add the label and your company or store name.
Decorate it and then pack and they’re ready.

E. DISTRIBUTION LOGISTICS
Collin’s Premium Scents operates as a home-based
enterprise and uses social media platforms like Facebook,
Instagram and Tiktok to advertise the flavors and quality of the
perfumes. Customers may choose if they will pick-up the item or
it will be delivered at their convenience. For delivery, there should
be handling fee (Hilongos, Bato and Hindang area) and shipping
fee (outside Hilongos, Bato and Hindang area). Fees will be
shouldered by the buyer. For bulk orders (minimum of 50 pcs.)
free shipping fee or handling fee is applied.
F. REGULATORY AND OTHER COMPLIANCE ISSUES
Collin’s Premium Scents will be registered as a partnership
type of business to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). A
barangay clearance will be secured before applying for a mayor’s
permit to operate as a home-based business micro enterprise.
The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) registration will also be
done after getting all the necessary registration documents and
permits from DTI, barangay and mayor’s office.

a. Social Media – The Collin’s Premium Scents is one of the best


perfumes ever! Two core words to describe this perfume would be
elegant and luxurious. This luxurious, feminine, sophisticated
and bold scent is sure can turn heads! You will have everyone
asking what you are wearing, it is very distinctive. It’s a pretty
floral oriental fragrance. It bursts with floral top notes and settles
into middle and base notes of jasmine and rose. The scent
includes citrus, roses, floral smell and lots of flavor in the
perfume. I recommend this product to any girl/female that wants
to feel elegant and sweet.

b. Online Resellers – Hey ladies!


Collin’s Premium Scents is made up of essential oils and
that is what makes unique and its scent is one of a kind.

awesomeness of Collin’s Premium Scents. Great for

fruit like you are fresh after bath. This perfume is not just
for rich people because anyone can use it. A vert classy, just
right for any kind of special occasions.

C. SALES STRATEGY
Customers are always sensitive about their smell. Collin’s
Premium Scents sale strategy will assure that ordering and
buying their preferred scents/flavors will be easy. To do this, we’ll
create a website, FB page and a TikTok account to attract the
customers attention. New flavors/scents will be uploaded to
notify the customers. We’ll also upload some interesting TikTok
videos to attract more customers. Electronic payments like bank-
to-bank transfer, Gcash and other remittance centers to promote
cashless transaction.
With this kind of sales strategies, the company/store
develops the customer’s excitement to order and convenience to
pay at their own pace.
D. PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS OR FEATURE
Collin’s Premium Scents has revealed competitive featured
that will be used to its advantage to achieve market penetration.

 Variety of scents/flavors – Customers will be offered


5 different flavors/scents of perfume to choose from.
Customers will be offered Pure Seduction; Floral;
Bombshell; Woodsage and Seat; and Pear Jo
Malone.
 Variety of Sizes – Customers will be offered 2 sized
of perfume bottles; 50 ml and 85 ml.
 Affordability – Since people, mostly teenagers,
started to become conscious on how they smell, they
will need affordable perfumes they could wear,
especially now that face-to-face classes started.
They will want the elegant and sophisticated
perfumes that were affordable for them.

The demand for perfume scents in Hilongos has shown
steady increase over the last 3 years. Since teenagers nowadays
are very sensitive when it comes to their smell, perfumes are very
in demand for teens. To increase market penetration, Collin’s
Premium Scents will offer variety of scents of perfumes. At the
same time, competition and encouraging marketing campaign
will be done to increase the visibility of Collin’s Premium Scents
using different types of social media and scouting potential online
resellers to widen the market. The enterprise offers price
differential based on the size and design with the price ranging
