Method of Application
}}The quality & performance of final coating is dependent on the substrate & material / application temperature.
}}The recommended substrate temperature shall be min 10°C & max 35°C
1 S U R FAC E P R E PA R AT I O N
}}Remove laitance, dirt & unsound plaster or concrete, paints, oil, grease. Curing compounds, corrosion deposits &
algae etc.
}}Roughen the surface by any mechanical means like wire brushing, sand or grit blasting increases bonding.
}}Clean the surface by vaccume or water washing. Allow the surface to dry excess water
}}The minimum application temperature for Dr. Fixit PIDIPOXY MI-EP is 5°C.
}}The strength of the concrete substrate should be atleast 25 MPa at 28 days in compression.
2 MIXING
}}The base & hardener components should be mixed separately in their individual packs.
}}The entire content of the Part-B (hardener) should be poured into the Part-A (base) & thoroughly mixed using a
slow speed stirrer / drill with mixing paddle for 2-3 minutes. The sides of the tin should then be scraped & mixing
should continue for further 2 minutes.
