“A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN (SK) ANNUAL
BUDGET FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2023 IN THE AMOUNT OF SIX HUNDRED
FORTY THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED EIGHTEEN PESOS AND TWENTY CENTAVOS
(₱640,618.20)”
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 20 (a) of the Republic Act 10742 also known as the SK
Reform Act of 2015, ten percent (10%) of the general fund of the barangay shall be set aside for
the SK. The Sangguniang Barangay shall appropriate the SK Fund in lump-sum, which shall be
disbursed solely for youth development and empowerment purposes;
WHEREAS, Section 20 (b) of the same law provides that the SK shall have financial
independence in its operations, disbursements and encashment of their fund, income and
expenditures;
WHEREAS, the Sangguiang Kabataan is mandated to formulate the SK Annual Budget and to
ensure that programs and projects are properly implemented and utilized solely for youth
development and empowerment;
WHEREAS, the body deemed it necessary to approve the SK Annual Budget for Calendar Year
2023;
NOW THEREFORE, on joint motion of the body, be it:
RESOLVED, as it hereby resolved to approve the SK Annual Budget for The Calendar Year
2023 in the amount of Six Hundred Forty Thousand Six Hundred Eighteen Pesos and Twenty
Centavos (₱640,618.20).
UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED this 11th of April 2023 at Barangay Buntun Hall Tuguegarao
City.
