Dear Sir(s),

This is to inform you that in terms of the Hon’ble Gauhati High Court’s order dated 28/02/2022
in WP(C) No.1837/2020 in the matter of M/s Ambe Wire Pvt. Ltd. Vs UOI & Ors., the Show Cause
Notice issued vide [Link].V(15)04/ADJ/HQRS/CE/GHY/2017/3436 dated 11/09/2017 has been
taken up for denovo adjudication by the Addl. Commissioner, CGST & Central Excise, Guwahati

In this connection, I am directed to intimate you that the Additional Commissioner, CGST & Central
Excise, Guwahati has been pleased to fix the date of personal hearing of the above case on 25.05.2022 at
11:30 hrs to be held through video conferencing facility (Virtual hearing) as per CBIC instruction
[Link].390/Misc/3-2019 dated 21.8.2020. For conducting Virtual hearing on the scheduled date and time, the
following SOP is to be observed.

i) Virtual hearing through video conference will be conducted from the official chamber of the
Additional Commissioner at GST Bhawan (5th Floor), Kedar Road, Fancy Bazar,
Guwahati-781001;
ii) The virtual hearing (video conference) will be conducted through available application
network;

iii) You should file a copy of your photo Id, E-mail Id, WhatsApp No. and contact details to this
office in the official e-mail address cceghy@[Link] with a copy to hqrsadjcgstghy@[Link]
at least 48 hours before the scheduled date & time;
iv) The authorized representative, in virtual hearing, should file his vakalatnama or authorization
letter along with a copy of his photo ID card and contact details to this office through the above
e-mail address;
v) If under any circumstance, you wish the presence of both yourself as well as your authorised
representative then you are requested to intimate this office prior to the scheduled date and time
of the virtual hearing and additionally the points mentioned in Sl. No. (iii) and (iv) should be
complied accordingly;
vi) The access LINK for the video conference shall be provided in advance through the mobile no. /
E-mail ID / WhatsApp No. at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled date & time;
vii) CBIC instruction [Link].390/Misc/3-2019 dated 21.8.2020 is also enclosed, you are requested to
go through the guidelines/instruction and strictly adhere to the instruction mentioned in Sl. no.
(ii), (iii), (iv), (vii), (viii) & (xi) of the aforementioned CBIC instruction for the smooth
conductance of the virtual hearing procedure;
viii) For any clarification or additional information in this regard, you please feel free to contact the

You are, therefore requested to attend the personal hearing on the date and time fixed, either in
person or through authorized representative through video conference. Written submission/documents in
support of your arguments may be sent to the e-mail address cceghy@[Link] with a copy to
hqrsadjcgstghy@[Link].
