What is SAP?
Systems, Applications &
Products
SAP (stands for Systems,
Applications and Products in
data processing) is a European
multinational software
corporation founded in 1972,
headquartered in Walldorf,
Baden- Wurttemberg, Germany
with regional offices in 180
countries.
What is it used for?
o ERP integrates all the data in all the areas of a company. If there is no
ERP, then humans have to handle all the activities.
o Errors might occur, and to resolve them again, we depend on
humans. It is a time-consuming process.
o Secondly, storing the data from various departments in a company is
not an easy job. You need space.
o Time and Space consumption are two drawbacks if there is no ERP
software.
