Abstract
This study addresses the library services in the National Library of Algeria, and try to
diagnosed to see the reality and propose some recommendations that would improve it, so the
study has included two main focuses, first part about the methodological framework of the study,
while came second frame presentation of the overall services provided by the library, and to
achieve the objectives of the study and answer questions were used descriptive analytical
method, both (survey and case study), this and the researcher has used directly observed and a
checklist to collect field data, and moreover support them by interviews direct personal non-
restricted with some officials from the departments and the services of the library, as well as
documents and records and the website of the national Library .
