Dear School Head / Principal,

We are thrilled to inform that we are introducing the internship programme for our EDUCATORS students
( Grade 8 & 9). We have collaborated with Akhuwat, world’s largest interest-free Islamic microfinance
organization.

This Summer, Akhuwat is offering a Virtual Internship Program. The Program's goal is to bring in
national and international guest speakers and have inspirational discussion sessions with students about
career and character development in order to motivate them, increase their creativity, and provide a
fresh perspective on things, followed by a call to action. They would also get a certificate of participation
upon completion of a project assigned to them.

This programme is planned from June to August, 2022 for a duration of 3 weeks.

Cohort 1 13th June 2022 – 2nd July 2022

Cohort 2 18th July 2022 – 6th August

Cohort 3 15th August 2022 – 3rd September, 2022

OBJECTIVES 
The objectives of this Akhuwat Internship Program are as follows; 

1. A supportive environment conducive for the development of multicultural competence and


sensitivity to individual differences as well as offer experiential learning opportunities to
integrate developing knowledge based on working with diverse populations. 
2. A professional working environment that encourages skilled identity development alongside the
growth of professional competence. 
3. The interns receive assistance and guidance from professional and potential speakers. They
offer valuable insights for their future. 
4. Train and offer practical opportunities for the development of Communication, Leadership,
Management, Team working and various other skills of tomorrow.  

WHAT’S OFFERED 

 Interactive sessions of experienced professional from various backgrounds. 


 Interpersonal & Intrapersonal skills for both in-person and remote-work environments 
 Social Entrepreneurship and Community Development Projects 
 Opportunity to gain practical grass root experience with Akhuwat 
 Networking with Interns/Volunteers of various background. 
 Printed certificate on completion of Internship

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 
Interns from various educational background ranging from Matric and Intermediate seeking to learn
fraternity and community building under the umbrella of Akhuwat. 
It is requested to send the below link to the interested students to apply for the Internship. Kindly
instruct them to read all the details carefully before filling the form. Also, instruct them to mention their

They have extended the deadline for submission of internship form for our students only. The deadline
for submission of internship form is June 6, 2022. The internship will be for three weeks
commencing from June 13, 2022 from 12:00 pm – 3:00pm (Monday – Friday).   

Please make sure that the candidate should have smooth connection of Internet.
