Definition of the Course

The title of this course is Arabic Language Course. It deals with Arabic language learning skills like
reading, listening, writing and speaking Arabic language.

Aim of the Course

The aim of this course is to enable the learners to understand the Arabic Language in a
comprehensive way so that they may be able to converse in the Arabic language in the Arabic speaking
setting. This course also focuses on helping the learners to comprehend the Holy Quran and its teachings
easily after having a conclusive interaction with the basics of the Arabic language in the classroom.

Outcome of the Course

This course is designed to meet the following outcomes:

• It will help the Muslim learners to have an interaction with the Islamic literature by building a
link with the basic knowledge of the Arabic Language learning.

• Prevalence of the rule, supreme character qualities and establishment of the type of society
suggested by the Holy Quran.

• Preparing the students for seeking jobs of their own choice in the Arabic Speaking World.

• 2 Quizzes (20 minutes duration, 5 marks each)
• 2 Assignments (to be decided in consultation with the course participants)
• 1 Project Report and presentation (Report of 5 marks and presentation of 10
marks) followed by discussions, comments, questions and answers
• 1 Mid-term Examination (first of 10 marks and second of 15 marks)
• 1 Final Examination (3 hours, one case study type question in five question
sections, 50 Marks)
• Inquisitiveness, critical and analytical thinking, and hard work are expected
from all course participants throughout the course.
