a a jaw &‘ENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES
1. Candidates who belong to SC/ST/OBC category should produce a valid caste certificate issued by the
Tahsildar/Revenue Divisional Officer. OBC certificate must be recent and as prescribed vide DoPT, Govt of
India OM No, 36012/22/93-Estt.(SCT) dated 15.11.1993 which should certify that the candidate do not
belong to anyone of the Creamy Layers.
2. Candidates claiming reservation under EWS category should produce their EWS certificate as prescribed
vide DoPT, Govt of India OM No. 36039/1/2019-Estt (Res) dated 31.01.2019.
3. Horizontal reservation will be applicable for PWD(as per earmarked categories of disability) and Ex-
servicemen candidates in accordance with Govt policies. Appropriate certificate must be produced at the
time of interview for claiming such reservation.
4. Application must be submitted for each post separately.
5. Private practice of any kind will not be allowed.
6. No TA/DA will be admissible for ‘Walk in interview.
7. Vacancies indicated above may change as per actual requirement on the date of interview.

9. The posts are contractual and the contractual engagement may be terminatedidiscontinued by either side
giving one month prior notice to this effect without assigning any reason.
10. Hostel accommodation/quarters may be provided as per availabilty and rules,
11. In case of selection, the candidate has to enter into an agreement with Medical Superintendent, ESIC
Hospital, Varanasi, on Non-judicial stamp paper of Rs100/-. The original contract will be with the hospital
and its copy will be with the candidate. Cost of the stamp paper will be bore by the candidate.
12. Upon joining, the selected candidate has to submit a security deposit of Rs10,000/-(Rupees Ten
thousand only) as Demand draft in favour of ‘ESIC Fund Account No.1’ payable at Varanasi, which is
refundable after successful completion of contract and production of 'No dues certificate’.
13, Mere declaration of the selection of the candidate does not confer the right to the post, but will be
subject to scrutiny of the documents at the time of joining,
14. In case of non-availability of suitable reserved category candidates, the seats willbe filed up for less
than 45 days by Un-reserved category candidates,
45. The recruitments will be purely on contractual basis and selected candidates will have no claim for
regularization of the service in ESIC.
46. The candidate who is in service should submit ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the employer at the time of
interview.
1 NDITIONS APPLICABLE TO NTRACT
SUPERSPECIA IALISTS:
1. SuperSpecialist/Specialist shall be recruited for a period of 3 years with annual evaluation and term
renewed every year based on satisfactory performance.
2. Private practice will not be allowed.
3. Available on call 24x7.
4, The superspecialistspecialist shall be responsible for all cases undergoing treatment under his
supervision in his discipline,
5. He/She will be entitled for the leave @ 04 days for each month of work on pro-rata basis in a calendar
year. In the event, the superspecialist/specialist prefers not to avail the leave, the same may be encashed to
‘a maximum limit of 30 days/year.
6. The selected superspecialist/specialist must have a professional indemnity policy which should cover the
period as desired by ESIC. The policy is meant to cover professional liability falling on them as a result of
errors and omissions committed by them while rendering professional services. The minimum sum assured
per annum should be Rs.30 lakhs for Anaesthesiologists, Cardiac Surgeon, Neuro Surgeons, Plastic
Surgeons ete. (2) Rs.20 lakhs for General Surgeons, Gynaecologist, Obstetrician etc. (3) Rs.10 lakhs forPhysicians, Dentists, Radiologists, Pathologists etc. A copy of the Insurance & Premium receipt must be
submitted within 7 days from the date of engagement.
‘TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO PART TIME CONTRACT
‘SUPERSPECIALISTS/SPECIALISTS:
1. Period of contract will be one year from the date of joining,
2. Minimum working hours will be 16 per week (4 days x 4 hours per week)
3. He/She will not be entitled for any kind of leave or benefits.
4. Available on call 24x7 if he/she is drawing emergency call charges.
5. The superspecialist/specialist shall be responsible for all cases undergoing treatment under his
supervision in his discipline.
6. The selected superspecialist/specialist must have a professional indemnity policy which should cover the
Period as desired by ESIC. The policy is meant to cover professional liabilty falling on them as a result of
