Karim Benzema
Karim Benzema is a French footballer born in Lyon, Rhône-Alpes
on December 19,1987 who currently plays for Real Madrid and is
currently 34 years old. Benzema was born and grew up in a large
family with his eight siblings and his father in Bron, near Lyon. On
February 3, 2014, Karim Benzema became the father of a girl
named Melia by his wife Chloé Launey. On May 5, 2017, he
became a father again with the birth of his son Ibrahim de his
partner, Cora Gauthier.
Benzema started out at the Association Sportive Des Buers Villeurbanne before
he joined Sporting Club Bron in his hometown, Le Terraillon (Bron), located on
the outskirts of Lyon and to which he felt very attached. His official league debut
took place on January 15, 2005 against Football Club de Metz, coming on as a
substitute in the 77th minute, a duel that Lyon won 2-0 and in which Benzema
assisted Bryan Bergougnoux on the second goal. On July 1, 2009, it was
announced that Lyon had reached an agreement with Real Madrid Club de
Fútbol for the transfer of Benzema. The total amount was 35 million euros , plus
an additional six for goals achieved. On July 9, Benzema passed the medical
examination and signed his six-year contract. The French player made his
debut with Real Madrid in an official match on August 29 against Deportivo de
La Coruña, in the first league match. His first goal was achieved on September
20 at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium against Xerez Club Deportivo. In 2011 he
would end the season with a total of 26 goals in all competitions, thus signing
his best season at Real Madrid, where this season he won the Copa del Rey at
the Mestalla Stadium in Valencia against FC Barcelona with a favorable score.

Benzema is the top French scorer in the history of Real Madrid Club de Fútbol,
and third overall, in addition to being the top scorer in the Spanish First Division
and in the history of the Clásico against Fútbol Club Barcelona. In these games
he scored the most fastest in its history at 22 seconds into the game, a record
that it also achieved for the Madrid club in its appearances in the UEFA
Champions League at 83 seconds into the game. In the aforementioned
European competition, he is the fourth highest scorer in history, and the first
Frenchman, with a better record than his compatriot Thierry Henry. Benzema

French super cups while with Real Madrid he has 4 Spanish league
championships, 2 king’s cups, 4 Spanish super cups, 3 European super cups, 4
