on adopting distinctive marketing strategies to set its services apart from those of competitors.
Statement of Sustainability
Pacific Star is a corporate socially responsible company that actively works to support
environmental preservation. Ensuring that current decisions do not have an impact on future
generations. Hence, safeguarding and attempting to reduce the impact on the world.
The five-star hotel is required to follow environmental regulations in addition to attempting to
reduce risks and effects by using robust procedural frameworks to measure, actualize, and
disperse amazing natural performance in line with its job in the neighborhood. Every decision
will be taken to produce the best results for our "people, customer choice and wellbeing, our
environment, our communities, as well as our shareholders," with a greater emphasis on making
a good impact on the environment in which we live.
The management has identified "Our People, Consumers, Environment, and Community" as the
four main pillars on which they would concentrate. In order to provide long-term commercial
value, these four pillars will be integrated into our occupant business strategies. First and
foremost, the hotel will provide a secure and welcoming environment where its employees are
committed to upholding human rights and maintaining their safety on the job. Second, the hotel
wants its clients to be happy with the services received; therefore, the management creates
services that live up to client expectations. Thirdly, the management suggests operating in a more
environmentally friendly manner for the sake of future generations, working responsibly in all
that we do in order to make the best decision now. The community focus is also on developing a
culture that will enable employees to contribute to the long-lasting harmony in the neighborhood
where we will operate. Additionally, to make an impact, we intend to put together "campaigns to
clean oceans and coastlines, to educate kids on environmentally friendly choices, and to inspire
individuals to promote the environment and fight the effects of climate change." As a result,
these will enable the company to operate sustainably. In addition, protecting our environment
is something we must all do. As a result, we should all assume responsibility for maintaining it,
protecting both present and future generations.
Aim
The goal we set for ourselves is to put " comprehending " into action by changing our
"unsustainable" behaviors towards better "sustainable actions." The board of directors also wants
to strike an equilibrium between our "economical, natural, and social requirements in order to
maintain success for current as well as future generations." The five-star hotel also emphasizes "a
sustainable growth strategy," which is just a way of combining the economic, environmental, and
social goals that society seeks in order to maximize the health of people in the here and now
without compromising the capacity of generations to come to fulfill their own needs.

Pacific Star is committed to providing adequate funding to effectively manage long-term
enhancement in order to satisfy regulatory requirements and make investments to minimize its
effects on the environment by:

everyone understands their own responsibilities.

Marketing Strategy
Branding Elements

The Pacific Star brand logo imprints an important image of Fijian culture on visitors' minds by
depicting the nation's flag, which stands for the value of the Fijian culture.
Pricing Strategy
There are four different pricing techniques available for the service sector, such as premium
pricing, which places an elevated cost on a good or service to indicate its rarity and casts light on
the reality that it is an expensive commodity. This kind of pricing tactics are effective in markets
where the company has an outstanding competitive edge and great brand recognition. Price
points are set lower than anticipated in penetration pricing, another form of tactic that might lead
to a price war. When a business first enters a market, this kind of price strategy is employed.
Economy pricing refers to the low-cost, no-frills prices that target the mass consumer to capture
a large portion of the market. Glancing strategy in this tactic, prices are set high for the service
until they are reduced. The primary goal is to make the most money possible before the good or
service experiences similar ideas from rivals.
Marketing Material
The following strategies will be utilized to promote Pacific Star's services:
Social networks like Facebook and Instagram are utilized to upload photos and collect
guest feedback, ratings, and comments.
Website: to offer travelers both online booking and enlightening information.
A billboard at the Nadi Airport is there to advertise and draw in travelers as they arrive.
Informational pamphlets for convention and corporate attendees that touch on the major
target audience.
Using newspapers to draw in local tourists.
Advertising and Promotions
Promotions and advertising are two more crucial aspects of marketing. Advertising is a type of
verbal exchange approach that helps you spread the word about your brand and raise awareness
of your goods. Promotion is one of the costliest aspects of launching a new entity; in order to
reach the target audience, businesses must use extensive advertising techniques. TripAdvisor will
be used by us to solicit reviews and expand our audience. In order to draw in and keep these
clients, we will offer incentives to them as part of our marketing campaigns. Benefits including
additional day-long discounts, entry into a drawing for a chance to return and stay at our resort
for free, and complimentary breakfast, lunch, and dinner upon arrival.
OPERATIONS
Just two minutes' drive from Nadi International Airport, the Pacific Star Hotel will be situated on
Wailoaloa Road in Nadi. A total of 263 rooms will be available, including 155 ordinary rooms,
20 family villas, and 60 premium rooms.
The management intends to begin with 150 employees. Induction and ongoing training will be
given to new hires in order to increase their skills and knowledge. The hotel's staff will follow a
diver's culture. People of all ages are employed in the department, the majority of whom are
seasoned workers who were previously engaged in their prior place of employment. They are
compensated in accordance with what is required by the Fijian government's labor rules for each
department in the hotel, including maintenance, the kitchen, the front desk, housekeeping,
security, and activities. Superannuation and tax are taken out and paid as necessary.
Plans for the hotel include looking into communities where it will create schools, plant more
trees, and sponsor sporting activities in order to fully assist residents in meeting their
requirements. Our hotel facilities are conveniently positioned inside the hotel, offices, and
warehouse.
Daily Operations of the Resort:
When it comes to guest experience and customer relations, we concentrate on our guests'
needs and address them as we learn from either positive or negative review comments.
Be a great role model, and businesses need to assist workers in building their skill sets
and creating a healthy work atmosphere that calls for effective teamwork and
communication.
In order to draw customers and improve their stay, the hotel places a strong emphasis on
the most recent hotel technologies, such as free Wi-Fi.
Hotel managers should prioritize online reputation management and branding when it
comes to reputation management. For instance, responding to both positive and negative
internet reviews, receiving prompt answers to their questions, and reinventing branding
methods to increase brand recognition.
Is the ability to plan for long-term solutions, such as tracking hotel revenue and managing
budgets, analyzing channels, conducting market segment reviews, and reporting sales
figures at our Pacific Star Hotel. Hotels are frequently vulnerable to changing economic

Sustainable development measures of performance
Plans to deal with Emissions.
The problem of lowering emissions is increasingly important to the global tourism business.
Ways in which Pacific Star Resort will use to deal with emissions problems are:
 By practicing the 3 R’s (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle)
 The hotel will only use solar energy for lighting, which will reduce costs and safeguard
against indirect emissions.
 The primary goal is to become an environmentally sustainable hotel star resort that
supports eco-tourism activities including tree planting, mangrove restoration, and
shoreline cleanup.
 In addition to employing energy-saving items, Pacific Star Resort will replace the
electrical water heaters in the rooms with solar ones.
By beginning with these four initiatives, Pacific Star Resort will take steps toward sustainability
and be able to contribute to the environment by somewhat reducing emissions.
Greenhouse Gas Reduction Goals
Pacific Star Resort will concentrate on one objective that will effectively reduce greenhouse gas
emissions: ceasing to use those facilities that consume the most energy. The hotel wants to swap
out its energy-guzzling equipment for energy-saving ones. For instance, switching from an
electric hot/cold water heater to a solar one will not only help the resort conserve energy but also
lower its electricity costs. Utilizing energy-saving techniques will lower the amount of
greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, preserving the ozone layer and reducing the effects of
climate change.
Carbon Footprints Measures
The type of carbon footprints performed by Pacific Star Resort is organizational footprints.
Carbon footprints measure the quantity of carbon emission in the atmosphere in relation to other
gases in the environment. The emissions from all of an organization's activities will be estimated
and afterwards assessed in this carbon footprint.
Plan To Use Renewables
Pacific Star Resort is working to successfully reduce the amount of carbon in the atmosphere by
using solar energy. In order to become more energy-efficient, the hotel plans to use solar power.
The hotel will be able to successfully transition to renewable energy sources thanks to the
utilization of solar electricity there.
