GIULIANO DA SANGALLO
He was an Italian sculptor, architect, and military engineer active during the Italian Renaissance. His final work was
to assist in designing and constructing the new St. Peter's Basilica.

After the death of Giuliano da Sangallo and Fra Giocondo in 1515, he added modifications to the design. He was
