A disk with a radius of 2 meters is initially at rest with two masses attached at different distances from the pivot point. Mass 1 is 25 kg at 0.5 m from the pivot and mass 2 is 20 kg at 0.1 m from the pivot. The forces on the disk need to be drawn and labeled.

A disk with a radius of 2 mis sitting at initially at rest. It has two masses dangling from it as
shown in the picture below. Mass 1 is 25 kg and sits at 0.5 m from the pivot point while mass 2
has 20 kg and sits only 0.1 from the pivot point. The pivot point is located 0.8 m from the left
side of the disk. The disk has a mass of 10 kg.
Note: though the pivot point is off center, use the moment of inertiafor u disk that is pivoted
in the center and the mosses fire on rotational screws that ullows them to remain in their
location while the disk rotates.
