ASSIGNMENT 2 (15%) (LO1, PO4)

LO1 – Apply the methodologies for product design as a means to develop an idea from
concept through to production to satisfy customer needs.
PO4 – Able to conduct investigation into complex problems using research based
knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and
interpretation of data, and synthesis of information to provide valid conclusions.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. This is a GROUP assignment.


2. This assignment is continuity from Assignment 1.
3. Perform a preliminary task analysis related to your product.
4. Describe the details of each step you took to perform the task analysis, as well as your
study participants.
5. Identify specific design requirements (as results) based upon your task analysis
6. Interpret and discuss your findings.
7. Review your existing design concepts, and revise your design to include new requirements
from task analysis.
8. Revise and update the design in 2D and 3D CAD model.
9. Show the report and the revised CAD model to your SV and obtain SV’s approval.
10. Submit the report to Ulearn.
