GRAMMAR
•En la tercera persona del singular, el verbo siempre
termina en -S
he wants, she needs, he gives, she thinks.

HE WANTS ICE CREAM.

Verbos que terminan en -y : en la tercera persona del


singular, se cambia la -y por -ies:

FLY --> FLIES, CRY --> CRIES

Excepción: cuando una vocal precede a la -y:

PLAY --> PLAYS, PRAY --> PRAYS

Verbos que terminan en -o, -z, -ss, -ch, -sh, -x

Debes agregarlos al final del verbo.

to push (empujar) - pushes
to kiss (beso) - kisses
to go (ir) - goes
to fix (arreglar) - fixes
EJEMPLOS:

Usaremos "do" cuando el sujeto de la oración sea yo (“I”), tú


(“you”), nosotros (“we”), ustedes (“you”) o ellos (“they”)

Usaremos "does" cuando el sujeto de la oración sea el (“he”), ella


(“she”), o algo (“it”)

Ex: He doesnotlike tea.
