REPORT OF ACTIVITIES
September 2022- March 2023

1. Training Programs attended by TEAM IIIC

Consequent to the establishment of the TATA-Jyothi IIIC, TATA technologies have
conducted a few training programmes for the IIIC team as described below:

A. Two Month Certified Trainig program for CNC

Er. C Sumesh has completed two month certified training program from Don Bosco
tech Private ITI, Vaduthala, Ernakulam and rejoined on 12 September 2023
B. Internship Programme in Tata Technologies, Hinjewadi, Pune

Ten students from Jyothi Engineering College participated in the Internship

Programme on Product Design and Development and Electrical Vehicles at Tata
Technologies Pune Hingewadi from 05-12-2022 to 09-12-2023. The program
provided the students with experience and knowledge on various aspects of product
design and development, including ideation, prototyping, testing, and fabrication.
The students also gained insights into the latest trends and advancements in
electrical vehicles, including design, components, and testing. The internship was a
great opportunity for the students to interact with experts in the field and gain
valuable insights into the industry practices and standards. Overall, the Internship
Programme on Product Design and Development and Electrical Vehicles at Tata
Technologies, Hinjewadi, Pune was a great learning experience for the students
from Jyothi Engineering College.

2. Workshops & Internship programs

1. Two Day workshop on CNC programming and

operations

The Two Day workshop on CNC programming and operations was conducted for
candidates from Universal, Malabar and Tejus Engineering college on 13-10-2022 and
14-10-2022. The program aimed to provide the participants with a comprehensive
understanding of CNC programming and operations concepts. The workshop provided
hands-on experience in CNC programming, operation and maintenance. The
participants gained valuable insights into the real-world applications of CNC
technology in the field of manufacturing.

program aimed to provide the participants with a comprehensive understanding of
CNC programming and operations concepts. The workshop provided hands-on
experience in CNC programming, operation and maintenance. The participants gained
valuable insights into the real-world applications of CNC technology in the field of
manufacturing.

Expert Talk on Hybrid Vehicles

The Expert Talk on Hybrid Vehicle was conducted for candidates from Jyothi
Engineering College on 17-12-2022. The program aimed to provide the participants
with a comprehensive understanding of hybrid vehicle technology. The expert speaker
provided insights into the working principles, design considerations and challenges
associated with hybrid vehicles. The participants gained valuable knowledge on the
latest trends and advancements in the field of hybrid vehicle technology.

1. Training cum Workshop / Industrial Visit for CAS ,

Chelakkara
The Training cum Workshop / Industrial Visit was conducted for CAS, Chelakkara on
25-01-2023. The program aimed to provide the participants with hands-on experience
and knowledge on the latest technologies and practices in the industry. The workshop
covered various aspects of industrial operations, including production, quality control,

safety and maintenance. The participants gained valuable insights into the real-world
challenges and solutions in the field of industrial engineering. Overall, the program
was a great opportunity for the participants to learn and enhance their skills in the

1. Two day Internship Programme on Renewable Energy &

Electric Mobility
2. The Two Day Internship Programme on Renewable Energy & Electric
Mobility was conducted for IES College of Engineering on 09-01-2023 & 10-
02-2023. The program aimed to provide the participants with a comprehensive
understanding of the latest trends and advancements in renewable energy and
electric mobility. The internship provided hands-on experience in designing,
building and testing renewable energy and electric mobility systems. The
participants gained valuable insights into the real-world applications of
renewable energy and electric mobility in the field of transportation and power
generation. The program was a great opportunity for the participants from IES
College of Engineering to learn and enhance their skills in the emerging fields
of renewable energy and electric mobility.

1. Two day Internship Programme on Product Design and

Robotics
The Two Day Internship Programme on Product Design and Robotics was conducted
for IES College of Engineering on 16-02-2023 & 17-02-2023. The program aimed to
provide the participants with hands-on experience and knowledge on the latest
technologies and practices in product design and robotics. The internship covered
various aspects of product design and development, including ideation, prototyping,
testing and fabrication. The participants also gained insights into the latest trends and
advancements in robotics, including robot design, programming and control. Overall,
the program was a great opportunity for the participants from IES College of
Engineering to learn and enhance their skills in the fields of product design and
robotics.

1. 5-day workshop on Introduction To Embedded System

Product Development IEEE Workshop
IEEE-SB-JEC in association with IIIC, JEC organized a 5-day workshop on
Introduction To Embedded System Product Development as part of Tharang 2023.
The workshop aimed to provide participants with hands-on experience and knowledge
in various topics related to embedded system product development, including GitHub,

Ardiuno, PCB Design, 3D Printing, and MIT App Builder. The workshop provided
participants with the opportunity to interact with experts in the field and gain valuable
insights into the latest trends and advancements in embedded system product
development. The workshop was held from 07-03-2023 to 15-03-2023 and was a great
opportunity for participants to learn and enhance their skills in the emerging field of
embedded system product development.
