WINDOWS 10 OPERATING INSTALLATION STEPS
1- Restart your PC in BIOS mode (there may be different ways to go in BIOS mode for different PCs,
you can press Del, F9, F2, F12, F11 depending on the computer BIOS settings) and then find BOOT
option where you can change the 1st boot priority to USB storage ore removable media according to
your PC.
2-Connect the bootable USB, then save settings of BIOS and then exit.
3-After that your computer boot through your USB and windows installation process will
start.
4-Now you can see the first setting of installation process is about Language, Time and
Currency and Keyboard format. Change the setting according to your own and click Next.
5-Click on Install Now.
6-Select your computer architecture (x64 bit or x86 bit) according to your PC and select
windows edition.
7-After that, it asks for license key if you purchase it then fill it there and if you have not at
that moment so click on skip.
8-Accept the Microsoft license term and click next. / 9-Click custom installation.
10-Select where do you want to install windows, carefully select the drive in which do not have any
data or important data.
11-After selection of partition click on format, it will format your partition and click next.
Note: if want to completely delete your hard disk partition and make a new partition so click
on delete and make new partition by new option but remember this practice delete all data
in your disk so be careful.
12-After clicking next, windows will start the installation process in your selected drive.
13-After finishes, windows restart your PC. / 14-Windows ask about your region select your
region and click next.
15-Then select keyboard layout
16-If windows ask for product key then enter it or click on below option do this later
17-Now windows ask How would you like to setup select personal use
18-Enter Microsoft account or if you want to skip so click on offline account.
19-Now enter your PC name or Password and click next.
20-Accept Cortana personal assistant.
21-Choose privacy setting and click Accept
22-Then, windows take time to setup settings. Done Enjoy
1. In windows 10 installation, it allows you to create more than 1 partitions. T
2. Reformat means to check the compatibility of software and hardware. F
3. In the VIOS setup it allows you to set USB as boot priority during the installation. F
4. A partition divides the hard drive into several logical storage units on one drive but

9. After installation check your PC power cable and power outlets for your safety. F
10 1 GB (32-bit) of hardisk drive is the minimum requirement for you to install windows 10. F
11. During installation you can delete existing drive of the computer. T
12. You can press Del in the keyboard to open BIOS setup. T
13. Set the USB as 1st boot priority to be able to start the windows 10 installation. T
