MESSAGE DETERMINATION

 "Message determination" means that the system searches for a message


record whose key combination matches up with the values from the relevant
purchasing document.
 If the appropriate settings have been made in Customizing, a new message
determination process can be carried out when purchasing documents are
changed.
 Output can be send to vendor in the document such as printout order,
confirmation, delivery note we communicate with vendor via postal service
or electronically by email/fax

STEP 1 : DEFINE CONDITION TABLE FOR PURCHASE
ORDER
 In this step we define the condition table.
 In condition table we save the combination of field with combination for
individual condition record for which we want to create message record.

 In this step we define new message type for purchasing document
 For define we copy standard NEU document type
 The message type denotes different kinds of message in the SAP System (for example,

reminders, expediters etc
