User research: summary

User research involved understanding the needs, emotions, behaviour, and preferences of users. Which
was done through various interviews and empathy maps. Primary user groups were working adults who
are art enthusiasts.

Research include user interviews, contextual inquiries, Usability testing and feedback collection. The
assumptions made were visitors prefer digital access for artist bios, Desire for digitized content, User
familiarity with digital platform, Interest of users in the content provided.
With few changed assumptions after research concluded that users had mixed preference for digital and
physical biographies, Varied information content as some wanted concise information while others
required more comprehensive insights leading to add customizable content options in the app.
