cockroaches to be my pets. I named them Tom and Ann. They are Madagascar hissing cockroaches. Tom is male
while Ann is female. I bought them from a pet shop in my town.
Tom is about 1 inch long while Ann is a bit bigger. Both are dark reddish brown, with a hard exoskeleton and no
wings. I put them in a gallon tank with a small house for hiding.
I feed them carrots, oranges, apples, bananas, tomatoes, celery, and sometimes peas. To keep their tank clean, I
always remove uneaten food.
Tom and Ann need water too, so I provide them with some water in a shallow dish with some cotton to prevent

Lemongrass
Lemongrass is a plant with long, thin leaves, which belongs to many Asian countries. Known as daun sereh in
Indonesian, this perennial plant has been used for its culinary and medicinal uses since ancient time. This plant is
regarded as a nutrient powerhouse since it contains plentiful nutrients such as vitamins A and C, folate, folic acid,
magnesium, zinc, iron, potassium, phosphorus, calcium and manganese.
Lemongrass tastes and smells close to lemons but sweeter and milder. It is often added in Asian food, particularly
in Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam. It is used for adding flavor to curries, soups, and meat dishes. It is
also commonly used in the preparation of teas, puddings, and sweets.
This quick-spreading grass is noted to fight different digestive maladies such as indigestion, constipation,
heartburn, and diarrhea. Antiseptic compounds contained in the plant get rid of bad bacteria and parasites in the
digestive system and proliferate good bacteria in the colon, which in return contributes to healthy digestion.
Likewise, lemongrass has properties which support healthy cholesterol levels.
Studies have discovered a cancer-fighting component called citral in the lemongrass. This liquid, which gives

"I'll Make A Man Out Of You"
(from "Mulan" soundtrack)
Let's get down to business
To defeat the Huns
Did they send me daughters when I asked for sons?
You're the saddest bunch I ever met
But you can bet before we're through
Mister, I'll make a man out of you
Tranquil as a forest
But on fire within
Once you find your center
You are sure to win
You're a spineless, pale, pathetic lot
And you haven't got a clue
Somehow I'll make a man out of you

Say goodbye to those who knew me
Boy, was I a fool in school for cutting gym

Hope he doesn't see right through me

You must be swift as a coursing river
(Be a man)
With all the force of a great typhoon
(Be a man)
With all the strength of a raging fire
Mysterious as the dark side of the moon
