RESOLUTION ADOPTING RESOLUTION NO. 012, SERIES OF 2019 OF THE BARANGAY PEACE
AND ORDER COUNCIL (BPOC) AND APPROVING THE BARANGAY PEACE AND ORDER AND
PUBLIC SAFETY (BPOPS) PLAN FOR THE YEAR 2019-2022

WHEREAS, Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Memorandum Circular No.
2015-128 (Guidelines on the Formulation of Peace and Order and Public Safety Plans) enjoins all
local government units to formula their BPOPS Plan to further strengthen the LPOCs in tackling
peace and order and public safety concerns in their respective localities;

WHEREAS, the provincial, city, municipal and barangay peace and order councils are mandated
to formulate three (3) year term based Peace and Order and Public Safety Plan (BPOPS Plan),
which shall be incorporated in the Barangay Development Plan of the Local Government Unit
with the prescribed outline as stated in MC No. 2015-128;

WHEREAS, the Barangay Technical Working Group prepared and presented the draft plan to
the Barangay Peace and Order Council and after review and revisions by the body during the
session, the plan was finalized and approved;
NOW THEREFORE, as it is hereby resolved to adopt Resolution No. 012, Series of 2019 of the
Barangay Peace and Order Council (BPOC) and Approving the Barangay Peace and Order and
Public and Safety (BPOPS) Plan for the year 2019-2022;

RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish a copy of this resolution to the Department of the Interior and
Local Government (DILG), Municipal Peace and Order Council and all other concerned offices
for their information.
