EMAIL POLICY OF ISULAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL
1. INTRODUCTION
Email is an essential and practical method of communication that can help our
school give our school community better services. The parameters for sending and
receiving emails inside an organization are outlined in its email policy. By giving each
group of users different privileges, it aids the administrator in managing access rights.
You can impose access limitations, monitor outgoing emails, and restrict the email
addresses and domains to which emails may be sent.
The Isulan National High School is located at Capitol East, Municipality of Isulan,
Province of Sultan Kudarat. The Isulan NHS has Junior High School and Senior High
School. The Isulan NHS was established in 1994 as a legislated secondary school
sponsored by Hon. Congressman Es. The principal of Isulan National High School was
Lorely Anne F. Valencia, EdD.
The Isulan National High School needs an email policy to help with monitoring and
dealing with students, like the enrollment process. It will also make it simpler for
teachers to update students and other information about the school through their email.
Emails can be used by teachers to remind students of deadlines, explain the material
covered in class, and ask general questions. Emails from students to their teachers with
inquiries or remarks on the class are welcome.
Information must be gathered and used properly, preserved securely, and not
unlawfully released to anyone in order to comply with the law. To do this, the Isulan
National High School student must adhere to the guidelines outlined in Republic Act No.
10173, generally known as the "Data Privacy Act of 2012".
2. PURPOSE
The purpose of this email policy is to ensure correct use of the email system at
Isulan National High School and to inform users of what Isulan National High School
considers to be acceptable and unacceptable use of its email system. The Isulan
National High School Network's email usage guidelines are set forth in this policy.
3. POLICY STATEMENT
Email is an essential means of communication in support of the Isulan National High
School's daily academic, educational, public service, and administrative functions. The
students and teachers of Isulan National High School encourage using the email system
to improve communications, share information, transact school, and exchange ideas.
Those who use email are expected to do so responsibly, that is, to comply with state
and federal laws, with this and other policies and procedures of the Isulan National High
School, and with normal standards of professional and personal courtesy and conduct.
These responsibilities include understanding and observing the appropriate use of email
resources and other resources as outlined in the Email Policy.
4. SCOPE
5. SUPPORTING POLICIES, STANDARDS & PROCEDURES
A school's operating procedures, quality standards for teaching and learning,
expectations, and accountability are all made possible by policies, which also serve to
build operational procedures. Without them, schools would not have the framework and
operational capabilities required to meet children' educational needs. In light of this,
policies are essential to a school's performance and offer a variety of benefits as long as
they are well-written, concise, and kept up-to-date.
6. SECURITY
The Isulan National High School endeavors to maintain the security of students
and faculty email, whether of a business or personal nature, but it cannot guarantee the
confidentiality or undiscovered interception or alteration of communications by third
parties. Current email transportation methods cannot be regarded as secure. Email
forgery can and does occur. To prevent the misuse of email, users should:
a. verify the authenticity of email that suggests an unusual course of action;
b. not use emails to communicate sensitive personal, commercial, or other
information;
c. use their passwords and email accounts and not permit others to use them;
d. not look at other people's emails without their consent;
e. be aware that by sending messages to open groups their email address will
become public; and
f. be aware that forwarded messages can be changed from the original.
