Pile Design Cal - 23.01 (Upd)

This document contains calculations for the design of a test pile subjected to axial and moment loads during testing. The test pile will be subjected to an axial load of 2.5 times the permissible load, resulting in 3500 kN of compression. Additional moments are calculated including from angular deviation and slenderness effects. Reinforcement is designed with 14 number 20mm diameter bars providing 1.5% reinforcement, meeting code minimums. Shear capacity is verified to be sufficient at 184.6 kN to resist the applied load of 44.5 kN. Compression and moment demands are then calculated and checked against code strength requirements.
