2.3 Briefly explain newness/uniqueness of the innovation (Enter newness/uniqueness
of the innovation)
Our system serves as android phone-based technology to track the culprit with the
geographical identification of the incident. The user are required to submit personal details
such as email id and emergency contact number. For communicating different, switches ,
modules, the Arduino UNO microcontroller is used. GSM is used to send preset to family and
police control room. It works with the frequency of 2.4GHz for 4G internet. SIM800 module is
used for this type of communication.
2.4 Concept & Objective
The main objective of this project is to provide security for women, to find the location of
the person by using GSM module. The main purpose of building a women safety device to act as
a rescue and prevent any harm at the time of hazard especially for women. Through the proposed
system a smart device for women’s safety which automates the emergency alert system is
designed.
2.5 Specify the potential areas of application in industry/market in brief
The pressure sensor is a force sensitive resistor, depending on how much pressure is
applied, the force sensitive resistor will vary according. The pulse -rate sensor with GSM and
GPS to detect a possible atrocity and notify her friends and family through a message containing
her location. For communicating different sensors, switches, modules, the Arduino UNO
microcontroller is used.

The proposed system can be further developed with capabilities like recording audio,
video of the culprit when the alert mechanism is activated which can be produced as a piece of
evidence in the court. The main advantage of our proposed system in that both automatic and
manual mechanism is implemented. It is also cost – efficient and easy to use. Best for women’s
security, keep others alert and helps to keep safe from robbers.

The major advantage of the proposed system is that it is adaptable i.e. it generates a
signal which is transmitted to the smart phone and the software application has access to GPS
and Messaging services which us pre-programmed in such a way that whenever it receives
emergency signal, it can send help request along with the location co-ordinate to the nearest
police station in the near radius who have application. This action enables instantaneously from
the police as well as public in the near radius who can reach the victim with great accuracy.

In current world, women’s are not safe at many places . Women harassment is increasing
day-to-day with the increasing population. In Bangaladesh, nearly 13 rapes occurs in every day.
The WHO states that Bangaladesh is one of the world’s listed unsafe country for women. We
have desinged the device which acts as self-defense mechanism for women in emergency
situation. Our primary goal of this project is to ensure every woman in our society to feel safe
and secured.
