First and foremost, we are grateful for the opportunity to accomplish our group report for
business plan that called Bubble Fresh Laundry for subject Principle of Entrepreneurship
(ENT530). The success of completing this task cannot be expressed in words, but it can be
expressed in appreciation to Miss Nur Najjah binti Abd Rahim who has been giving a hand to
ensure that all of her students complete the task correctly. However, we believe that working in a
team and adhering to Miss's instructions is vital to complete this assignment. We would like to

1.0 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
We chose to open a laundromat that offers a variety of superior services with the aim of
providing consumers with reliable machines and a clean, pleasant environment at an affordable
price. Consequently, we branded our laundry service Bubble Fresh Laundry. The target market
for this laundry business is students and every home in the immediate neighborhood of No. 33,
Jalan Bidara 10, Saujana Utama 3, 47000 Sungai Buloh, Selangor that requires laundry service.
There are other laundry services available, but what makes Bubble Fresh Laundry stand
out is that we offer conveniences such as a phone charging station, free Wi-Fi, coffee machine
and reading section. We distinguish ourselves from other dobby services by providing a higher
level of cleaning to our clients. Furthermore, we provide machines of superior quality. When it
comes to washing the garments of our customers, we spare no effort.
We can envision our business expanding and prospering. Modern individuals are so
consumed with their routines that they lack the time to wash their clothing. Popular with university
students (UiTM Puncak Alam), busy workers, and locals. We intend to start by establishing as
many branches as possible in Selangor, and then work our way up to the top of Malaysia. We
also aim to increase the quality of our work by ensuring customer satisfaction.

2.0 COMPANY PROFILE
The name of our organization is “Bubble Fresh Laundry.” The meaning of “Bubble”
refers to soap foam used for laundry detergent. Meanwhile, “Fresh” means the clothes
that need to be cleaned have recently been washed. In addition, our organization wants
to provide the best service to our customers who pass by our laundry shop. Our shop is
located near UiTM Puncak Alam and most of our customers come from students. So, the
goal of our organization is to help the people out there who find the best and most useful
laundry that provides self-service laundry.
Bubble Fresh Laundry is the company name that we chose before we opened it.
The particular reason why we choose this logo is that we want to captivate the customer's
attention when they see our company logo. Other than that, the picture in the logo shows
our main purpose to open this company which is in laundry services.

● To provide better and more convenient services to our customers.

3.0 ENVIRONMENTAL INDUSTRY ANALYSIS
The nature of the industry for our laundry services is Personal Care Services. This
means that our company has provided the services of washing the clothing and other
textiles, and, more broadly, drying, folding, and ironing services as well. Other than that,
our company is confident in providing convenient facilities such as a coffee machine and
providing a reading section for the customers to read some books or novels that we put
there while waiting for their clothes. This actively demonstrates that the customer will not
feel bored and have nothing to do as there are some other things that they can do instead
of sitting in one place. Based on our facilities, it shows that the customers would love to
come to “Bubble Fresh Laundry” in terms of the services that we provide and the
uniqueness inside our shop that captivates their attention and makes them comfortable
and happy by using our facilities.
In addition, one of the strengths that we got to run for the business is when we
think about the people who do not have their own washing machine at home. This
includes the people that live nearby Puncak Alam, a residential area, and the students
who stayed at UiTM Puncak Alam. In this situation, these target markets are the ones who
help us to increase our sales even though we are still a new laundry shop in that area. To
illustrate, every year our company has received a total amount of RM580,000.00 as our
revenue. The sales get better each year because the group of students frequently uses
our services, especially during their final exams since they are all busy. Not only that, but
our laundry area is also the strategic place to start up the business. It is because our
laundry shop is located at the center of the rows by the shop lots. So, everyone will
acknowledge and notice our laundry shop’s existence from a far.
Other than that, laundry services is a well-known service that has been used by
people in Malaysia. There are so many reasons why they choose to use laundry services
because of the high-quality cleaning materials and methods that have been provided by
us. Unfortunately, there are also quite a number of competitors in laundry services in
Malaysia since this industry has a constant demand for clean clothes. For example, our
competitors are Laundrybar, Mr. Clean, and AquaNano. All these companies are
competing for the same services that they provide. However, to differentiate our company

from them is the facilities that we provide for the customer and how we treat the customer
needs in terms for us to fulfill their demand. By doing so, our laundry services can sustain
every year without fail even though we are still new in this field.
Note trend is a trend simply reflects what seems to be going around at any given
time. A trend can occur everywhere and is not just related to entertainment, pop culture,
or fashion but it can be related to the current trend, economic trend, and seasonal trend.
There are three note trends that involve our business which is laundry services that will
be explained below.

3.2.1 Current Trends
First and foremost, for our laundry business, getting to know the current trends is
the most important thing that we should prioritize. So, for our laundry shop, we have
provided a coffee machine inside the corner of the shop. This is because we want to
make sure that our customers fulfill their time and have a cup of coffee while waiting for
their clothes to be done. Apart from that, indirectly we can generate side income from that.
Next, to follow the current trend, we also provide a reading section for the customers
who like to read books and novels. Because of this, the customer will not feel bored but
also can gain knowledge by reading some books. Then, our business has followed the
trend where we provide a cashless payment that can make it easier for the customer
when they want to make a payment. They can just bring their debit card to the dobby and
pay with it while not having to worry about changing the notes to the coins. By having this
method, we can enhance our improvement in these laundry services.
After that, the trend that will be done by our business is the economic trend. Firstly,
this situation will happen where there is high demand from the UiTM students who want
to use our services. This is because our laundry is located near the UiTM Puncak Alam.
They need to use these laundry services because inside their University, there are not
enough washing machines and they also do not provide any dryer to dry their clothes. So,

the students will concentrate on our laundry services to wash their clothes. Additionally,
our profit will be generated by the parents that are too busy with their work until they
do not have time to settle for their laundry. As for this, they will come to our laundry twice
a week to do their laundry especially during the weekend. They also do not have to worry
about the detergent and softener since everything is provided in our laundry that is suitable
and friendly-user for those who are busy. Lastly, the residents' area that lacks laundry
services will focus on our laundry near their houses. This situation happened because
the Puncak Alam area does not have as much self service laundry as our Bubble Fresh
Laundry but there are lots of laundries that have workers to wash the customer’s clothes.
Because of that, some customers do not prefer to use that service, instead they want to
have self service by themselves since it is much easier for them to wash their own clothes.
Hence, this is indeed that economic trends are helpful to increase our revenue in this
business.

which can help attract more customers. Also, our services are especially popular with
people who are very busy and people who simply dislike doing laundry. The selection of
this business concept needs to be made according to the needs of the local community.
Our main aim is to fulfill the laundry service needs of our valued customers and provide
them with absolute satisfaction. Our services, combined with our state-of-the-art
environmentally friendly technology and professional techniques, allow us to achieve our
main goals at all times. As a result, everyone will be looking for our services, which will
result in a substantial return on investment.

To achieve customer satisfaction and indirectly contribute to the achievement of the

minutes, the customer can get their 14 kg of clothes clean.

clothes, towels, bed linen and other items lying around waiting to
be ironed. We will deliver clean clothing to customers and return
it ironed and finished to their specifications.

people who are smart in pleasing their work when they are busy. There are examples of
a situation that our company can solve.
1) People who do not have time to do laundry. Laundry services are an excellent way
to save time for those who cannot find the time to wash their clothes at home. For
instance, people who are busy working, working housewives and students. Customers
would have to take time off from work since they would have to wait for hours. So that,
customers no longer have to wait around for their laundry to be finished. Usually, it takes
little time, so they may multitask while doing their laundry.
2) Too many clothes to wash. Sometimes those who work do not have time to wash
their clothes, they will collect their clothes within a week. That is too much for the washing
machine to hold. If not, they need to be washed two or three times. That will take a long
time. So, the best option is to wash in the laundry. As another example, if a family has just
returned from vacation, they must have a lot of dirty clothes, indirectly they will surely use

because our focus customers are from those who are busy working and students. It is fast
on demand and convenient laundry service. Bubble Fresh Laundry also offers reliable

about our competitors and make better decisions to improve our products and services.

the specific milestones and provides a completion timeline.
As for the short run for our business is on how we promote or marketing our
services to our existing customers or new customers. Business needs a loyal customer
base to thrive. Satisfied customers give the business the revenue that the business needs
to develop and grow the business. In order for our business to gain recognition, we
promote our services through flyers and brochures that we can attract their attention.
Other than that, we also focus on participating in social media. It's easy to grow an
audience and alert customers to upcoming deals and events on Facebook, Twitter, and
Instagram. Aside from that nowadays, we have influencers that we can pay to promote
our services to their followers. This can expand our services to more new future
customers.
Meanwhile, in the long run, we will focus entirely on expanding our business by
launching our own product. For example, we are developing our own skin-friendly
softener and detergent. Having our own product allows us to expand our business
throughout Malaysia and gain the trust of our customers because they are familiar with
our product. We will also open new branches in other possible locations. Furthermore,
we want to ensure that our products are selling quickly and that they are known not only
by the residents near our location, but also by local customers. People will be more drawn
to our product as a result of the aggressive marketing and new products on the market. In
the long run, our sales will gradually rise as more customers purchase our skin-friendly
products. We all have different types of skin conditions, and some of them have sensitive
skin which is eczema. So, by having gentle products that are suitable for various skin
types, our products will become more popular because all of our customers will be able to
use them without any problems.

Bubble Fresh Laundry’s target demographic mostly are from UITM’s students, and
from residential areas. The customers are from the age range 18- to 30-year-old, gen Z
and millennials who are either students or working. The busy parents also will use the
facilities that our laundry provided, due to their busy schedule such as their household
responsibilities. Other than that, men will often use the laundry services more than

women. This is because men frequently need to utilize a laundry since they lack the space
to store a washing machine. They might also be prepared to spend a little bit extra for
convenience and they will choose the easiest way and convenient for them.
Demographic segmentation uses a certain trait such as gender, age, wealth and
many more to classify potential audiences, whereas psychographic segmentation places
more focus on traits like personality and values. Psychographic traits are used by the
person that has to do marketing messages for various target markets. The customers'
personalities that direct brand positioning, product development and marketing messaging
now have additional detail. Our main targets are the middle class such as the students
from UITM. Students are among the busiest people due to the amounts of homework,
tests and extra activities from their faculty that they have to do. It’s difficult to believe that

Our major is offering a variety of laundry services, such as washing and drying the
clothes. We also provide service for folding the clothes after they are cleaned. The
customers can just pick up their laundry, whenever they are ready. The client is not
required to rearrange their busy schedule to accommodate the service. Instead, we work
with them to fit our timetable. We make things easier for them and accommodate their
convenience.
Brand:
A brand is anything that identifies and sets one product apart from another,
including names, terms, signs, symbols and designs. The purpose of a brand strategy is
to stand out from the competition in the eyes of the consumer so that they choose to
support the firm. Based on our brand name “Bubble Fresh Laundry” it is easily recognized
and the customers know that we are providing a service that cleans the clothes. Our brand
name we chose the word related to cleaning services.
Quality:
In an effort to draw customers to use our laundry services, quality is essential. So,
as to provide the greatest service for the customers, we have decided to provide the
service that will satisfy our current and potential customer’s needs. We will take note of
our customer’s recommendations and past experiences.
Packaging:
The customer's clothing is prepared to be packaged for the pick up once it has
been washed, dried and folded. We take great care in our packaging, and we pack
everything firmly to ensure that the clothes get you perfectly folded. We use bags with
that the bottom is suitable to stack clothes two or three high without them slipping over.
The goods would lean against one another in a typical type bag, which would not make a
decent base for stacking, so we begin by stacking the larger items, such as bath towels
or slacks first.

Labeling:
For the labeling, before the customer picks up their fresh laundry, we will pack and
tie the laundry in the bag to prevent it from messing it up. After that, we are going to put
our sticker logo on top of the packaging. Other than that, we will put a tag about the
customer’s details.
The most crucial factor in running a business is pricing. The success or failure of
the firm can be determined by its pricing strategy. A corporation must consider a variety
of elements, such as the cost of sourcing materials, production expenses, competition,
and service quality, to establish price. Pricing is the most crucial aspect to take into
account when establishing a pricing for our Bubble Fresh Laundry. Our business sets its
pricing goals depending on these competition. A method for determining a service’s price
by contrasting it with that of competitors is competitor based pricing. The reason we chose
this method is because there are a lot of competitors in the industry. Offering the price
that consumers are familiar with will help us attract our target audience. Pricing
determined by competition may also aid in preventing clients from turning to rival

Social media is the main platform for Bubble Fresh Laundry to promote and spread
our services and mission. The social media platforms used are Facebook pages,
Instagram, and WhatsApp to communicate and attract audiences about our business.
Social media is the most effective to promote because it enables fast customer connection
and input.
Bubble Fresh Laundry also provides flyers and brochures as an effort to introduce
our laundry services to everyone. In the flyers and brochures, we will include all
information related to our laundry shop including price, location, and benefits of using our
laundry service. This is because, we think that when a piece of promotional material is in
their hands, people are more likely to remember a business. The budget used to spend
for the flyers and brochures is RM 400.
Banners:
Banner is also one of Bubble Fresh Laundry’s efforts to grab the customer’s
attention and prompts them to want to know more about what is being advertised.
Because of that we can grow our shop presence by using banner advertising, helping
people be able to easily recognize our products and services. For banners, the budget we
used to spend is RM 300.
Business Card:
Bubble Fresh Laundry uses the cards to drive the attention of potential customers.
We are using the cards to advertise our essential services. Each of our managers have
their own business card so that it is easy for customers to reach our services.

Word-of-Mouth:
Besides that, the easiest thing is to communicate verbally directly with customers
so that it is clearer what to convey about our laundry business. Indirectly, we can attract
customers to try the laundry service provided by our store. Word-of-mouth advertising
usually results in a series of additional interactions after the initial one.
Place:
Distribution Channel:
The direct channel does not use any intermediaries. The seller will sell it directly
to customers. For example, BUBBLE FRESH LAUNDRY sells services that cannot be
stored for an extended period of time. It is perishable because the quality of the service
deteriorates over time due to environmental factors. As a result, it is best to purchase the
service at the specified time and location so that the consumer can do their laundry with
the comfortness. The staff at BUBBLE FRESH LAUNDRY would prepare the service
based on the clients' needs and desires. As a result, the service will be freshly prepared
for the customers, saving their time.

6.2 Production
Next, for the second level, there will be a room where the production activity will
happen. There will also be workers that will control the production and operation for the
business. For example, there are staff who will handle the materials with the supplier such
as for the washing machine, soap and softener. Lastly, there will also be staff who will be
responsible for maintaining the equipment that the business provides.
6.3 Facilities
Bubble Fresh Laundry is located at No. 33, Jalan Bidara 10, Saujana Utama 3,
47000, Sungai Buloh, Selangor near UiTM Puncak Alam. We believe that our laundry
shop is a strategic place as Puncak Alam is an increasingly developing area that has many
shop lots nearby. As mentioned earlier, our laundry is located near UiTM Puncak Alam,
and it is easy to find our laundry since that is our landmark used whenever the customers
want to come to the laundry shop. Next, by having a shop lot that has 1,869 sq ft with two
rooms that operate for production and office, we can run the business every day.
In addition, the facilities that we provide for our customers are the coffee area,
reading room, water dispenser, and free detergent and softener. This is because we want
to attract our customers to come to our laundry shop by offering the best facilities that we
can have. The budget used to spend for the coffee machine is RM1,800. By doing so, the
customers will come again to our laundry to wash their clothes and become our regular
customers. Therefore, we believe that having good facilities will make the customers
comfortable and happy with our laundry services.

6.4 Staffing
The duties for the staff members are to ensure the process of the production should
function perfectly and smoothly. The workers must conduct a weekly check of the
machinery and examine the quality of the raw materials when they are received from the
suppliers. Other than that, the maintenance process of the equipment will also be done by
them, which is the washing machines as we are in the services industry to maintain its
function well.

To operate the Bubble Fresh Laundry, we have used the raw material by detergent,
softener to wash the clothes and we provide good quality of product that does not leave a
stain on our customers clothes. We also use a good scent for our softener that contains
three scents which are Lemon, Lavender, and Rosemary.
In addition, we have used the hanger and plastic cloth cover to protect our
customer's clothes from dirt and they will be more organized when we hang them. By
doing so, our customers will be satisfied with our services since we prioritize user’s
comfort.

7.0 ORGANIZATION PLAN
In terms of our business, a partnership structure is the legal form that we have
selected. A partnership is a type of business where two or more people, each of whom
has unlimited liability, combine their financial resources to establish a company. The
partnership agreement gives the general manager and each of the five participating
executives equal control, with the majority ruling. Any corporate duties belong to us all.
Furthermore, we have made the decision to suffer an equal number of losses and gains.
We are all responsible for any corporate responsibilities. Additionally, we have decided to
experience an equal number of losses and gains.

we have determined the tasks we aim to complete during the next several months or in the future.

Based on the research and discussion above, it is possible to conclude that Bubble Fresh
Laundry is facing a number of challenges as they expand their business and new to the market.
To meet the needs of our customers, we must make them feel comfortable and encourage them
to return for more services. Our company must identify problems and weaknesses in order to
create a better strategy for removing barriers between the company and our customers. We must
offer reasonable prices and high-quality services to retain existing customers and attract new
ones. This concept will guarantee that their company or business outperforms its competitors.
Aside from that, this company must ensure that its operations run smoothly by employing
sufficient staff or manpower, which will increase the company's profit.
Nevertheless, Bubble Fresh Laundry can also hire more part-time or full-time employees
to assist with the operation of our business. This is one way they can save time and contribute to
the smooth operation of the business. As we know, our location is nearing UiTM Puncak Alam,
where there are a lot of students needing our laundry to help them manage their time. Aside from
that, promotion is the most important issue that must be addressed because it is the most
important factor in the success of a business. Because promotion appears to be the one that
connects products to customers, promotions must be well-executed to pique customers' interest
in our products and services. For example, Bubble Fresh Laundry can do a promotion or sales on
our softener and detergent so that it will build customer’s trust and brand awareness. Finally,
hiring an influencer or ambassador can help them sell more softener and detergent because they
can interact with their followers and persuade them to believe in their brand. With influencers or
ambassadors, our product will have brand awareness towards the customers.
Finally, it is crystal clear that this group report of business plan expands our knowledge of
business, particularly sole proprietorships. Aside from that, we have all enjoyed having a good
working experience together on this group report. While working on this task, we learned how to
communicate and tolerate one another. As a result, we hope that in the future, we will be able to
use all of the information gained from this case study while working on the organization.
