1. The Height of the Barley plants in a Field is assumed to follow Normal distribution with mean 35” and SD
4”. A sample of 150 plants were selected from a plot of the field. Find the probability of number of
plants (1) Having height more than 40” (2) Between heights 32” and 38” (3) Below the height of 30”
2. Explain the steps involved in testing of hypothesis.
3. Apply t-test for testing equality of means in the following data
