IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:
Please read carefully and comply. Candidates will be allowed to appear in the examination only with
'ORIGINAL PHOTO ID'.
1. Please ensure that all the information on this Admit Card including photograph, signature and barcode are
clearly visible on the printout.
2. In case of any discrepancy in the Admit Card information, please contact our helpdesk immediately.
3. This Admit card must not be mutilated or tampered with.
4. It is mandatory for all candidates to bring PRINTED copy of Admit Card for the examination. Candidate’s entry to
the examination centre is subject to verification of the Admit Card. If the details/information in the Admit Card
are found to be tampered with, and / or are in disagreement with the candidate’s particulars available with the
examination centre-in-charge, the candidates will not be permitted to attempt the examination.
5. Candidate shall sign in the space provided in the Admit Card only in the presence of the invigilator.
6. This is a computer-based examination in which the questions are displayed on computer monitor and
candidates are required to select the correct option using mouse. However, for rough work, candidates are
required to bring their own transparent ball point pen / pencil. Sheet(s) for rough work will be provided.
7. The duration of the examination will be 120 minutes for 100 questions.
8. On-screen calculator will be provided.
9. Every correct answer carries (+3) marks. Every wrong answer carries (-1) mark. Zero marks for not attempted
questions.
10. Candidates should report at the centre of the examination well in advance of the examination start time
indicated on the Admit Card to complete activities such as verification of the candidate, capture of photo,
announcement of instructions and logging in etc.
11. This Admit Card is valid only for the examination date, batch and time as specified therein.
12. No candidate will be allowed inside the examination centre after start of the examination for the date and batch
indicated on the Admit Card.
13. A printed copy of the Admit Card is to be submitted for verification at the time of the examination. At least one
original and valid photo identification card (i.e. not photocopied or scanned or expired) such as Voter Card,
Aadhaar Card, printout of e-Aadhaar, Driving License, PAN card, Passport, Identity Card issued by School /
College / University, SSC/SSLC/HSC mark sheet with photo must be presented failing which candidate will not
be permitted in the examination. Photocopy of the ID proof will not be allowed.
14. Please affix a recently taken Passport size (3.5cm X 4.5cm) colour Photograph in the space provided on the
Admit Card for attestation at examination venue.
15. PwBD candidates accompanied by scribe must bring the Admit Cards of both (candidate & scribe) along with
any two Original Photo ID proofs of the scribe i.e., Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Passport, Driving License,
College ID. The names on both the documents brought by scribe should match. In case somebody other than
the approved scribe comes for the purpose of acting as a scribe then he/she will not be allowed as a scribe.
16. Banned items/electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, pagers, watches, bluetooth enabled devices,
calculators, metallic wears, bangles, belts, bracelets, fitness devices, tablets, laptops etc are NOT ALLOWED
inside the examination centre. There is no facility for safe keeping of personal belongings of the candidates
outside the examination hall and examination centre authorities are not responsible for their loss. Only Admit
Card and Photo ID card in original will be allowed inside the examination hall.
17. Indulging in any type of malpractice /unfair means/misbehaviour/indiscipline in the examination hall or
impersonation will disqualify the candidate.
18. Candidate should write his/her name and Application Number on the Rough sheet(s) provided for rough work.
The Rough sheet(s) will have to be returned after the examination.
19. Candidate needs to make his/her own travel and stay arrangements for attending the examination.
20. The Admit Card is provisional, subject to the condition that the candidate has fulfilled all the eligibility conditions
as mentioned in the Information Brochure on the website www.barconlineexam.in like academic qualification,
category etc. as mentioned in his/her online application which is subject to verification in the consecutive
stages of the selection process.
21. Special instructions, if any, given by the Invigilator should be followed strictly.
22. Change of date/batch/centre of examination is not permitted under any circumstances.
23. Mere issue of Admit Card does not confer any right to be eligible for recruitment. The candidature is purely
provisional and is liable to be cancelled at any stage of recruitment or thereafter, in case any inconsistency is
noticed.
24. BARC reserves the right to order re-examination for any or all the candidates.
25. Decision of BARC in all the matters will be final and binding on the candidates.
COVID RELATED GUIDELINES:
1. All candidates must adhere to Covid Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) and must wear mask at all times inside the
examination venue except when requested by exam officials for verification purpose.
2. The non-contact digital thermal scanner will be used to read the temperature of the candidate in the wrist/
forehead.
3. Candidates having fever/ cold/ cough may not be allowed into the exam venue.
4. Candidate will not be allowed to leave the exam premises till end of exam.
5. Candidates must maintain social distance in all the areas i.e. in the entrance gate, while checking the
temperature, while checking the admit card and original Govt ID proof, while moving inside the premises, while
using the Hand Sanitizer Pump dispenser stand, waiting hall/room, while occupying the system in the lab, while
exiting from the labs and exam premises.
6. Parents / friends / relatives of the candidates will not be allowed strictly inside the exam premises.
7. The candidates are not allowed to share their belongings (mask, sanitizer, pen) with other candidates.
8. Candidates must follow hygiene guidelines inside the campus/premises.
