Scope
The scope of the SOP would cover Safety of people in side the premises

2. Purpose
The purpose of the SOP is to outline the procedures to be followed in the event of any injury/ causality of a
employee/ guest.

3. Roles & Responsibilities

Role Responsibility
First Aider/ERT The First-Aider/ERT member is responsible to provide First Aid to the injured /
member causality before rushing to hospital.

Security manager/ EHS Security / EHS Manager is responsible to ensure adequate availability of trained
Manager first aiders in the premises. Security / EHS Manager is responsible to lead the
incident reporting & investigation process and documentation to be in place.

4. Training & Competency


• Third party training to be provided for first aiders every year.
• Training and competency record to be maintained.

5. Standard: Every person subjected to any sudden sickness or accident will be provided
with immediate First-Aid before being sent to Hospital / Clinic.

6. Procedures

 All emergency cases should be reported to emergency contact number & Security/ EHS Manager
immediately so that first aid can be provided at earliest.

 Small cuts, small burns etc… will be treated in house where as all big cases such as heart attack,
shock, burns, dislocation etc. will be referred to hospital after giving first aid.

 Transportation facility will be provided if available for transporting patient to clinic or hospital.

 Security will maintain stock of First-Aid kit, which is kept as emergency stock if other department
exhaust their stock. All departments to maintain the register.

 Any guest requiring first aid is provided by the First aider in presence of security and the house
doctor is called for immediately if available.

 Any accident happening to guests must be handled very discreetly and the Security/ EHS manager
must be informed before acting.

 Accidents happening to employees must be informed to the HR/ Admin department and who in
turn will keep the General Manager apprised. The patient is given First aid by the First Aider and
taken to the nearest hospital immediately.
