 A. Application Form

Candidates must apply in the prescribed ONLINE form available on the University
website "www.coep.org.in" under “Recruitment” tab.

1. A single PDF file with a maximum size limit of 40 MB is to be created including the
latest resume with the passport size digital photograph of the candidate, scanned
copies of certificates/documents related to qualifications, professional experience (if
any), and achievements/awards (if any). This single PDF file is required to be
uploaded online through online application form.

2. The last date for the receipt of the ONLINE application form is 24th July 2023 till 5:00
p.m.

3. The candidate should submit the online application form, upload the single PDF file
including all necessary scanned copies of documents/certificates and pay online
application fees. The application fee is for Open Category candidates is Rs. 1000/-
and for Reserved Category candidates is Rs. 500/-. The application fees paid is non-
refundable. Please attached the fees paid receipt with application form.

Applications of the candidates not making the online payment of application fee and
not providing fees paid receipt details will be treated as INCOMPLETE and will not be
considered for further processing.

4. Candidates must also bring all the relevant original certificates/documents along with
photo ID proof for verification at the time of interview. The hard copies of duly filled in
application with signature and self-attested photograph with all required self-attested
copies of the certificates/documents will have to be submitted at the time of written
test/presentation to the University authorities.

5. Candidate who wishes to apply for more than one discipline should submit separate
applications along with respective fees receipt.

 B. Selection Procedure

Adjunct Faculty:

• A written test of 100 Marks will be conducted for short listing of candidates for
presentations and Interview, in case the number of applications received are too
large.

• The test paper will be objective type based on GATE/CAT/CMAT syllabus for
respective branch/subject.

i. Presentation (20 Marks)

Subject knowledge and presentation skills.

ii. Interview (50 Marks)

Personal interview in front of selection committee.

iii. Final Selection

Final selection will be on 100 marks.
(Qualification and experience- 30 marks + presentation- 20 marks + interview- 50 marks)

C. Other Terms and Conditions

• Candidates applying for the post should have educational qualifications and
experience of respective discipline as per the latest educational qualifications and
experience norms of AICTE/UGC/Govt. of Maharashtra’s resolutions published
time to time.

• The appointment is purely on temporary basis for an 11-month period with a

consolidated salary of Rs. 60,000/- per month (min.) to Rs. 80,000/- per month
(max.) as per the highest qualification and relevant experience of the applicant.

• There is no upper age limit for the candidate as far as the competencies and
experience are concerned.

• Services shall stand automatically terminated; on expiry of an 11-months tenure or

if the performance of the selected candidate is not satisfactory on review after
every quarter of the service.

• Reserved category candidates must attach a valid caste certificate and caste
validity/ non-creamy layer certificate issued by the competent authority, along with
the application and candidates belonging to EWS category must attach a valid
income certificate issued by the competent authority.

• Mere fulfillment of minimum qualification and experience requirements does not

entitle the candidate to be called for an interview. A short-listing criterion may be
set higher than the minimum.

 • No TA / DA are admissible and will not be paid to the candidate to attend a written
test/presentation and interview.

• Any misleading or wrong information provided may lead to summarily rejection of

application / appointment, if found subsequently. Canvassing in any form by or on
