Hands on experience in maintaining and handling following equipment:


Static Equipment: Separators De-salter, heat exchangers (tube and shell type), oil and coal fired
boilers, bleachers, converters, cooling towers, oil and gas fired heaters and solvent extraction
plant.
Rotary Equipment: Condensate Recovery Unit, Gas Turbines, Rotary and Reciprocating
Compressors, Blowers, Centrifugal Pumps, Vacuum Pumps, Boilers and Boilers feed pumps
(single stage and multi stage), Centrifuges, Pneumatic and Mechanical Hammers, Mechanical
and Hydraulic press and Power pack.
Tool-room Equipment: CNC, Milling machine, Automatic Lathe, Drilling and Grinding Machine,
Grit blasting machine. Hydraulic/ Pneumatic tools.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE SUMMARY:


 Flow line replacement and modifications, new headers fabrication and commissioning,
up gradation of crude oil gathering center includes commissioning of Motor Operated
Valves on crude oil in-coming headers.
 Checking and verifying of engineering drawings and specifications familiarized on the
construction details.
 Monitoring and implementation of project procedure, specifications.
 Checking of Isometric and related drawing that does not conform to Piping General
Arrangement, P&IDs. Inspection Routed process & utility lines as per P&ID, equipment,
foundation & structural layout.
 Performed tasks related to isometrics extraction and isometric checking as per P&ID,
equipment drawing.
 Prepare as built drawings, with all variations made during works. Identify and report any
technical problems in the project.
 Prepare “Construction Technical Query” or Field Revision Instruction for the revised
drawing and other details that deviate from the original construction design.
 Good knowledge of KOC, KNPC pipeline fabrication and erection procedures and also
Knowledge of ANSI / ASME/ API/ IBR / NACE standards.
 Familiar with permit to Work System (PTW) in KOC and KGOC (joint operations).
 Co-ordination and arrange third-party Inspection of procured material and finished jobs.
 Draining and Nitrogen purging new header lines trunk lines and flow lines Gas
compressors, separators, scrubbers, making free off Hydro Carbons and other gases.
 Trouble shooting, Operations, Maintenance and Overhauling Rotary and Static
Equipment used in Crude Gathering Centers (GCs) and Booster Stations (B.S.s). Handling
the Equipment with their Safety measures.
 Mechanical aspects for maintenance of Pumps, Compressors, Turbines, well-heads, storage
tanks, pressure vessels and accessories, Heaters, Desalter vessels, Separators, and Scrubbers,
Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers, Plate type Heat Exchangers, various types of valves such as
Gate valve, Globe Valve, Butterfly Valve, Non Return Valve, Ball Valve etc.

TEST PACKAGES, HYDRO TEST & COMMISSIONING


 Final inspection of Piping Systems based on approved P&ID’s Interpret P&ID, piping
drawings such as GA, isometric drawings, etc. Review As-built documentations.
 Carry out Inspection of valves, vessels, pipe headers, manifolds & other equipment
internals. Established and prepared comprehensive Database for Monitoring of Piping
Progress, including Database of Test Package Dossier of Piping Systems Punch List
handling, to correct punched items and preparing a list of missing materials.
 Review of Piping Test Packages and dossiers (weld history, P & ID marked up & limits,
Isometrics, weld mapping, Inspection internal cleanliness, PRV’s alignments etc.)
Familiarization / review of project drawings, specifications, project standards and other
documents related to piping work.
 Carry out line checking / punch listing prior to pressure test.
 Supervision of Final reinstatement of all piping components including valves, inline
instruments which have been removed or not install during or before pressure test.
 Carry out and witness flushing and blowing of pipe lines as required by commissioning &
operation group.
 Control and coordination of all inspection and test activities
 Witness Piping pressure test and inspection of the line during test whether there is any
leakage at every joint.

NATURE OF WORK & JOB RESPONSIBILITY

Administrative
 Preparation of shutdown schedules resource loading and cost loading of the schedules
producing the bar-charts.
 Direct & co-ordinate the work personnel in the area of responsibility.
 Plan daily work and Ensure safe working conditions for personnel, in work area.
 Initiate and follow up requests for spares, special tools and equipment, with purchase
department.
 Conducting stores Inventory making material status reports.
 Preparation Daily & Monthly progress reports and time sheets.
 Participating in plant safety training, first aid training, permit to work system (PTW).

Operational
 Review scope of work packages & engineering drawings and direct their implementation in a
safe and efficient manner.
 Perform and/or direct preventive maintenance and/or overhauls defined in the plant survey
program.
 Co-ordinate & directs repair & maintenance of oil industry equipment such as, crude oil
separation plants, wellheads, and pipelines, in a safe & effective manner.
