DIVISION ORIENTATION ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE

GUIDELINES ON THE SELECTION OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
TECHNICAL-VOCATIONAL-LIVELIHOOD SPECIALIZATIONS

1. Pursuant to the DepEd Order No. 54 s. 2022 Re: Guidelines on the Selection
of Senior High school Technical-Vocational-Livelihood Specializations, this office
announces the conduct of the Division Orientation for school heads and TLE
coordinators per Sub offices to be held at Pedro Guevarra Memorial National High
School on February 1, 2023, 9:00 a.m onward.

2. This activity aims to:

a. institutionalize the steps to be undertaken by the Schools Division
Offices (SDOs) and Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) Senior High
Schools (SHSs) to identify the TVL specializations to offer,
b. Provide technical assistance to Senior High School Heads and
coordinators in organizing and analyzing data from learners, national,
regional, and local development priority documents and data sources and
capacity of schools to offer identified TVL specializations.
c. Analyze division data to decide on which TVL specialization to offer.

3. Participants via face-to-face modality of this activity consists of the SHS

principal/School heads offering TVL track and TLE principal and coordinators per
sub offices.

4. Participants are expected to bring their school enrolment data per TVL
strand course offerings, Inventory of received Learning Tools and Equipment (LTE)
for Tech-Voc, TVL teachers’ profile with NC and Training Methodology, and the
result of the local development priority documents and its sources. Participants
shall strictly follow all DOH and IATF-recommended health and safety measures
and protocols.

5. Training expenses which include transportation, and food expenses relative

to the conduct of this activity shall be charged against school MOOE or local funds
(canteen share) subject to usual accounting rules and regulations.

6. Relative to this activity, there will be monitoring and validation of TVL

school implementation by the Education Program Supervisors in charge anytime
from January to February 2023. All SHS TVL implementers are expected to
prepare needed documents before the monitoring.

6. Attached is Enclosure 1 for the list of participants, and Enclosure 2 for the
Activity Matrix for the said activity.
