DESCRIPTION

Corium 85 is an exclusive food grade cleaner

product of Corium Industrial Chemicals. It is a
renovator for kitchen and food processing equipment
which makes maintenance routines easier.

HOW CORIUM 85 WORKS

Corium 85 is a specialized product that cuts away the gummy food residues,
cooked-on carbon build-ups, rotting grease, stubborn food stains, greasy fire
hazards, foul pockets of germs and dirt that naturally form where food is cooked,
handled, prepared or processed. It can be used with complete safety, as it is non-
corrosive and non-flammable. Corium 85 contains a powerful sequestering agent
that effectively turns grease into liquid and removes all types of soil, both alkali and
acidic, by a powerful chemical dissolving action.

Corium 85 acts with an efficient and quick action which breaks down the structure
of animal and vegetable greases and food residues.

ADDED SAFETY

Corium 85 is non-flammable and meets all fire code regulations. Corium 85

contains no acid, no caustic soda and no ammonia. In addition, its powerful action
can remove the hazards of grease deposits in hoods, vents and fans - a common
cause of fires in food handling establishments.

 HOW TO APPLY

A CONCENTRATED CLEANER

Corium 85 is highly concentrated and can be diluted with plain water.

Deep Fat Fryers

To remove deposits of fat from tubes, bottom and sides, dilute with Corium 85
equal amounts of water, fill one inch above tubes, boil for 30 minutes. While
solution is boiling, use a scrub brush or mop to clean top edges and upper sides.
Place baskets or wire traps in boiling solution. Drain and rinse.

Ovens / Grills / Hoods / Canopies / Vents

Mix equal parts of water with Corium 85 to dissolve dirt. For hard, burnt-on food
residue, agitate with metal sponge and rinse with water. Corium 85 can be used on
warm ovens and grills giving spectacular results. Do not use on extremely hot oven
or grill as the Corium 85 solution will evaporate before doing the job. Allow surface
to cool to approximately 90°C (194°F) before cleaning.

Filters / Exhaust Ducts / Fans

Mix one part Corium 85 to four parts water, spray or apply solution on area to be
cleaned and allow adequate time for chemical action. Rinse with clear water.

Counter Tops / Splash Boards / Food Carts / Refrigerators / Walk in Coolers

Spray or apply with cleaning cloth a solution of one part Corium 85 to 8 parts
water. Allow the chemical action to dissolve the soil. Rinse with clear water.

Meat Blocks / Meat Slices / Saws / Hooks

Using a solution of one part Corium 85 to two parts water you can dissolve and
clean all old blood, grease and soil which normally accumulates where meat is cut
and handled. Simply spray on surface allowing time for chemical reaction, brush
and rinse.

 Corium 85 can be used on Floors-Baseboards-Walls. Mix a solution of one part
Corium 85 to ten parts water to clean soil from floors, greases and foods from
baseboards and walls. This solution cleans well on walls and around light switches,
door frames and window sills. Apply the solution and permit it to soak for
approximately one minute, then rinse or wipe clean with sponge or cloth. For mop
method cleaning, allow solution to soak on floor and then rinse with clean mop and
rinse water. If soil is extremely heavy, increase the concentration of Corium 85 and
allow solution to soak on surface to be cleaned for a longer period of time. Repeat
as needed.

COMPLETE SAFETY

Corium 85 is safe for critical maintenance problems and is a specialized chemical

for the food processing industry. Corium 85 is non-toxic when used as directed.
