Job Description
Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
• Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with the company's overall
objectives.
• Identify potential areas for business expansion and target markets.
• Formulate and present business plans to senior management.
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
• Identify and research potential clients, partners, and key decision-makers.
• Generate leads through various channels, including networking events, cold calling, emails, and
social media.
• Initiate contact and establish rapport with prospects to understand their needs and pain points.
Sales and Client Relationship Management:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to foster loyalty and encourage
repeat business.
• Work with the sales team to close deals and achieve revenue targets.
• Ensure excellent customer service and handle any issues or concerns that arise.
Proposal Development and Presentation:
• Prepare and present persuasive business proposals to potential clients.
• Customize proposals to address specific client needs and demonstrate the company's value
proposition.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with clients and partners.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with various internal teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and
finance, to align strategies and achieve common goals.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to keep them informed of progress
and challenges.
Performance Analysis and Reporting:
• Track and analyse key performance metrics related to business development activities.
• Prepare regular reports for management, summarizing progress, opportunities, and challenges.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Sales, Marketing, finance or a related field.
Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and industry trends.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Results-driven and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools.
