SUB SECTION IV (GRAMMAR SECTION)

• Narration *Active to Passive
SECTION ‘C’ IMPORTANT ESSAYS
• Physical classes v/s Online Classes
Classrooms have a direct effect on our learning and understanding process. Back in the day, classrooms
meant only physical classrooms. But, online classrooms have gained immense popularity,
especially after the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic.
An online classroom is a digital learning experience that allows teachers and students to connect online
in real-time. Online classrooms may be the perfect option for some, but not the correct choice for
others. Online classrooms allow you to study in the comfort of your own home. Also, there will be less
disease transmission from others. Most importantly, from dangerous viruses suchas COVID-19. Online
classrooms require fewer materials. So, it is cost-effective compared to the usual classrooms. Pupils
only need to buy e-books and have a good internet connection to attendclasses in an online
classroom. They do not need to purchase expensive textbooks. They can’t talk to others, interact in
the classroom openly, etc. Students do all teamwork online, all by themselves. This makes them less
social. The list of distractions in an online classroom is vast. In a physical classroom, the environment
is only suited for learning and getting to interact with others. But, in an online classroom, pupils are in
their homes or any other comfortable place. This means that the primary purpose of that environment
is not for learning. They are also not under the supervision of teachers.
Education is essential for all. However, different people have different preferences when it comes to
selecting the most suitable mode of education. Online classroom vs. Physical Classroom is an
ongoing debate for several people.

• Football v/s Cricket

Cricket and football are two games played widely in the world. Some aspects of similarities and
differences can be found between these two games. Previously, football was more popular than
cricket in Bangladesh. But now a day’s cricket has become more popular than football. In the manner
of playing, there are differences between the two games. In football, all the players play at the same
time. The players play with a ball. There are two goalposts at some distance on two ends of the field.
Each of the two teams tries its best to pass the ball through the goal post. The more goals a team can
score the more points it gets. Win and defeat depend on the score of goals. A match continues for an
hour and a little over than that. On the other hand, a cricket match is held in a different circumstance
and continues for hours together. All the players do not play at the same time. Of the two teams one
group does batting and the other group does bowling. However, there are some similarities in the
nature of games. In football, there is a goalkeeper who tries stopping the ball from passing along the
goal area. On the other hand, in a cricket match, there is a wicket-keeper whose function is to stop
deliveries that pass the batsman. Win and defeat depend on the number of runs and the wickets.
Whatever may be the differences between cricket and football, one thing is very common that both
the games provide a lot of excitement as well as amusement.
Physical games v/s online games
Physical games and online games are two popular forms of entertainment that have significantly
impacted the lives of people of all ages. Physical games refer to traditional games that require players
to be physically present and interact with each other in a tangible environment, whereas online games
are digital games that can be played over the internet, often with players from all around the world. In
this essay, I will compare and contrast the features, benefits, and drawbacks of physical games and
online games.

Firstly, physical games offer a unique experience that cannot be replicated in the digital world. Physical
games involve physical movement, coordination, and communication with other players. For example,
playing a game of football or basketball requires physical exertion, teamwork, and communication with
teammates. The physical activity in these games can have a positive impact on the body, promoting
fitness and overall health. Additionally, physical games provide an opportunity for players to interact
face-to-face, fostering social skills and emotional development.

On the other hand, online games offer convenience and accessibility that physical games cannot
match. Online games can be played from anywhere in the world, and players can connect with other
players from different countries and cultures. Online games provide a platform for players to socialize
and build relationships with people they may never have met otherwise. Moreover, online games are
usually available 24/7, providing an avenue for entertainment at any time of the day.

However, online games have been known to have some negative effects on players. Some online
games are addictive and can lead to excessive screen time, resulting in physical and mental health
problems. Online games can also be a source of cyberbullying, which can affect the mental health and
wellbeing of players. Furthermore, online games can be expensive, requiring players to pay for
subscriptions, upgrades, or in-game items.

In contrast, physical games have a lower risk of addiction and can be played without any additional
costs. Physical games can also be beneficial for players with attention disorders or hyperactivity, as
they offer an outlet for excess energy and can improve focus and concentration.

In conclusion, physical games and online games offer unique experiences and benefits, and both have
their drawbacks. Physical games provide a physical and social experience that cannot be replicated
online, while online games offer accessibility and convenience. Ultimately, the choice between physical
games and online games depends on personal preference and individual circumstances. It is essential
to strike a balance between physical and digital forms of entertainment to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

School Life v/s College Life

The world of high school and college are two very different phases of life. From childhood to
teenage, the high school tries to prep you for your life as an adult. Whereas college on the
other hand, grooms and teaches that adult how to make the transition from a teenager to a
professional of the corporate life. Let's look at the things that separate the school life
experiences from that of college.

The learning environment of the two educational systems is very different from one another. In
college, you are supposed to make the learning effort on your own, unlike high school where
your teachers would run after you and push you to study and improve your grades.

In school, attendance was compulsory if you missed out a day you had to take in a leave/sick
application duly signed by one of your parents to school the next day. Whereas, on the other
hand, attendance in college is taken more casually by students.
The people all around you in school were from the same culture and traditions as you. There
were hardly any cultural differences between you. But in college, the scenario is completely
different. You come across people from different cultures within your own country.

Being in college can sometimes be an overwhelming experience but it leads on to become on

the most cherished phase of your life. They say one can forget their school and college life
and it's very much true. Later in life, if asked if you could live one phase of your life once again
what would it be, for most it would be their college or school life. Though both these phases of
life have their differences they both shape your personality and determine the kind of adult we
would go on to become.
