Respected Sirs,
Under instructions from my client Miss. Thanu.S D/o. Srikanta.A. &
Shashikala, aged about 21 years, residing at No. 39/1, 6 th Cross, 5th Main
Road, Ganganagar, Bangalore – 560032, I issue this legal notices to both of
you as follows:

1) My client instructs me that, Smt. Manjula was appointed as Causal
Labour in Canteen in the office of Bharat Electronics Ambedkar
Multipurpose Co-operative Society Limited (1 st of you) Controlled
and direction by the 2nd of you on 14/09/2012 on a monthly salary
of Rs. 6000/-. She was working with the satisfaction of supervisor and
higher authority without any complaints.
2) My client further informs me that Smt. Manjula, Staff No.
C0003981 has been working and in all the way you have been deducting
PF, insurance made (EDLI) Employees Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme etc.,
upto January 2016 and that time Smt. Manjula drawing a monthly
salary Rs. 7800/-. For which my client was not received the salary
during January and February 2016, due to her ill health
3) The Said Smt. Manjula was made her nominee Miss. Thanu.S. at
the time of Appointing as Causal Labour in Canteen Section of BEL
(Bharat Electronics Limited). At that time Miss. Thanu.S was a minor
and she was represented by her natural guardian and mother Smt.
Shashikala.L and continued her nominee as Miss.Thanu.S
4) My client Miss. Thanu.S was born on 24/01/2001 and there after
she has become major on 24/07/2019 and at present she is aged about
21 years. Hence my client Miss Thanu.S. is representing after become
major as her own and act continuously.
5) My client informs me that during the time the said employee
Manjula have been suffering from cancer, brain cancer and subsequently
due to said effect, she was died on 24/02/2016, without her any family
dependants. As on the date her husband Srinivasa Also pre-deceased.
Hence she have no any dependents / legal representatives to look after
her welfare. Hence the said Smt. Manjula was made Miss Thanu.S. as

her nominee throughout. During her life time my client Miss. Thanu.S.
and her parents have been looking after the welfare of Smt. Manjula and
borne all the medical expenses and residing with my clients residence.
6) My client further informs me that on the date of expiry on
25/02/2016, the 1st and 2nd of you have paid of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten
thousand ) towards her funeral expenses as to perform her obsequies.
7) My client after requesting along with by producing the concerned
documents the PF Department of your authority has been fully settled
and paid of Rs. 41261/- (Rupees Forty One thousand two hundred sixty
one only) towards her deduction of PF (Provident Fund) amount on
08/08/ 2016 in the name of Miss. Thanu.S. represented by her mother
Shashikala, through NEFT, drawn on Syndicate Bank, Ganganagar
Branch, Bangalore and credited the same. But further deduction of the
amount in Employee Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme (EDLI) amount
has not been paid and settled thereafter. But after the death of
Manjula, my client and her mother have been requesting to settle the
EDLI (Employee Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme) amount. For which
the 2nd of you also given letter on 03/03/2018 to the 1 st of you and also
to my client to furnish the details such as dependent parents, husband
of Smt. Manjula and as on the date of my client Miss. Thanu.S. is a
minor or major. Therefore my client mother Shashikala.L was furnished
all the details saying that there are no any dependent parents of Smt.
Manjula as on the date of died on 25/02/2016 and as on date my client
Miss. Thanu.S. was a minor represented by her mother Shashikala.L.
8. There after my client’s mother Shashikala also demanded and
requested through a representation on 27/11/2019 to both of you to
release and to settle the EDLI (Employee Deposit Linked Insurance
Scheme) dues in favour of nominee. Thereafter continuously my client
and her mother have been requested on several times to release the EDLI

(Employee Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme) due amount. But so far
both of you did not consider the request of my client and also did not
comply the demands so far. Since my client is facing innumerable
difficulties to pay college fees, clothing, food, travelling. shelter etc., and
depending upon the said amount. Since my client’s parents also
receiving hand loans from friends and gold loan from the bank and to
incur expenditure of my clients welfare. Hence it is necessary to release
and pay the said EDLI (Employee Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme)
amount.
Therefore, I hereby calling upon 1st and 2nd of you to release and pay the
EDLI (Employee Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme) due amount to my
client and consequently pay and settle the amount by all of you to my
client within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of this notice,
failing which after due, instructions my client will take appropriate legal
steps for recovering the said amount at your risks and costs, both of you
are also liable to pay of Rs. 10,000/- towards this legal notice charges.
