Undertaking By The Boarders

given undertaking that:

(i) I will abide by all the rules and regulations of the hostel and conduct myself in accordance
with the Hostel Rules, Regulations and Instructions given to me by the hostel Authorities from
time to time.
(ii) I state that I will not leave hostel without prior permissions of the warden.
(iii) I will further abide by the rules relating to hostel mess and will respect the staff therein.
(iv) I will not indulge myself in any type of indiscipline acts/ behaviour and in violation of any
rules; an appropriate action shall be initiated against me.
(v) I further state that I have read the Rules and Regulations and understood the same and will
abide thereto.
(vi) I also declare that I am not suffering from any serious/ semiserious contagious ailments/
diseases including psychology related symptoms.
(vii) I undertake to pay the respective fine as defined by the hostel manual for any damage caused
by me while staying in the hostel and also I shall abide by each and every rules of hostel
manual.
(viii) I have never been expelled/debarred/ suspended/ rusticate from the hostel previous and no
cases and proceedings are filed/pending against me with the proctorial board or any other
disciplinary committee.
(ix) I further state that my home does not fall in Konch, Guraru, Paraiya, Bodhgaya, Tikari, Gaya
town C.D. Block, Manpur and Belonging blocks of Gaya District.
(x) I state that the information regariding my personal details provided to the University and
filled by men in hostel application form is correct ot the best of my knowledge and belief.
(xi) I also give undertaking that if I am found guilty by the hostel authority, directly or indirectly,
individually or collectively or in a group of two or more students or persons in any of the
following acts, then my admission in the hostel will be cancelled and/or appropriate
punishment will be given to me:
(a) Disobeying the instructions of teachers or the authorities;
(b) Misconduct or misbehaviour of any nature at the time of elections to the student bodies or at
meetings or during curricular or extra-curricular activities of the University/ hostel;
(c) Physical assault, threat to use physical force, or any other intimidatory behaviour, within the
premises of any institution of the University system, or of any unit of any such institution, against
any teacher, officer, functionary, member of any authority or other body, member of the non-
teaching staff, or student of any such institution or unit, or a visitor present on official
invitation or for administrative or academic work in such premises;
(d) Any act or statement, or distribution or display of any document or literature, including
the circulars, pamphlets, posters, press releases, cyber defamation etc., which adversely

affects the public image of the Universtiy system, or of any unit thereof , or of any
individual belonging to or associated with, such institution or unit including university
hostel;
(e) Any act that creates, or tends to create, ill-will between groups of persons or promotes
intolerance on religious, social, regional or linguistic grounds; in the hostel or university;
(f) Any act violative of the provisions of the Statutes, the Ordinances or the Regulations of
the University, or of the rules made thereunder and also of the rules of the hostel;
(g) Any act that interferes with the personal liberty of another person, or subjects other
persons to indignity, or involves physical violence or use of abusive language;
(h) Any violation of the status, dignity and honour of students belonging to the Scheduled
Castes and the Scheduled Tribes;
(i) Any act or practice, whether verbal or otherwise, that is derogatory of women or
amounts to sexual harassment;
(j) The making of false statements or the submission of false dicuments;
(xii) I solemnly affirm that if the informations provided by myself are found to be untrue
then my admission is liable to be cancelled without giving any further notice;
