French is one of the simplest languages to learn if you speak English.
There are signifcant similarities between French and English.
English and French do share the same alphabet,
Both are not Phonetic languages (spelling doesn’t match the
pronunciation ),silent letters.
They have similar grammatical structures,
They have a number of words (or at least word roots) in common;
27% of the words or lexical similarity between English and French are
shared (similarity in both form and meaning).
