DR. SATHEESH KUMAR REDDY

The ‘Honour’ of Hyderabad!

Childhood Days
Dr. K. Satheesh Kumar Reddy was born on October 10th,
1961 at Kavali (Distt. Nellore), Andhra Pradesh. His
father, Dr. Sekhar Reddy, is a renowned medical
practitioner and mother, Mrs. K. Aruna, is a home maker.
He belongs to a rural background of Andhra Pradesh. Dr.
Reddy completed his schooling from Zila Parishad high
school, Buchireddypalem.

The Dentistry Debut

As his father used to practice medicine, Dr. Reddy always
wanted to go for the same stream only. “Honestly, I never
wanted to be awake at all the nights” (smiles Dr. Reddy).
And that is why he finally chose Dentistry. He did his BDS
from prestigious Government Dental College, Hyderabad
in the year 1980. After his graduation, he always wanted
to opt for Oral Surgery. However, the post-graduation was
not available for the particular subject in the institute; so
he chose Orthodontics as he found it to be the most sorted
out subjects in the field of Dentistry. As he was the topper
of the state entrance exam, he went on to do his post-
graduation in Orthodontics from the year 1985 – 1988.

Family Life
He is married to Mrs. K.L. Rajani who is an avid home
maker. Both got blessed with a son named Mr. K. Mithilesh who is a successful engineer and an entrepreneur
as well. His daughter in law, Mrs. Sneha, is also an engineer by profession.

9
His Role Models
He is truly indebted to Dr. P. Ramachandra Reddy
who was his teacher and one of the senior most
practitioners of Hyderabad. His guru, Dr.
Ramachandra was the Honorary Dental Surgeon to
the President of India. He feels whatever he is today;
it’s all because of his unconditional support.
