ORGANISATIONAL EXPERIENCE

Take responsibility for the health and safety of all personnel, associated with operations &
maintenance, and ensure their awareness and compliance with Company and Site HSE system,
plans, and procedures.
Demonstrate working knowledge of plant and Site HSE policies and plans, and take a leading role
in implementing the Emergency Response Plan at the field.
Obtain certification in (or equivalent to) Standard First Aid, H2S Alive, WHMIS (Workplace
Hazardous Materials Information System), TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods), Driver
Training and/or other training as deemed appropriate for the operated facilities.
Ensure all incidents, near misses, spills, environmental releases or emergencies are reported,
submitted to the appropriate stakeholders, and corrective actions followed up.
Take a leading role in the development and implementation of operating procedures and standards
at the Site
Conduct facility periodic inspections and audits to ensure HSE standards are met.
Represent Company within the scope of defined responsibility with discretion and professionalism
Responsible for an optimized, safe, and efficient operation of the plant and field facilities, with
minimal supervision.
Liaise with Maintenance Advisor and ensure maintenance work is executed in accordance with
Control of Work and Integrity Management standards.
Troubleshoot process and equipment problems to maintain facility reliability.
Ensure appropriate documentation and reporting for all activities is completed and submitted as
required.
Participate in start-up and commissioning of facilities.
Responsible to train and mentor subordinate staff.
Field Operations:
Supervising the implementation of tools utilized in the field with the aim of enhancing
operational effectiveness
Building long-term relationships with the field office personnel as well as other managers and
identifying the field operational solutions that will improve productivity
Safety Management:
Assisting the management in annual inspection of workplaces to assure safe and healthful
conditions for workers
Identifying best practices and leading continuous improvement initiatives for reducing work
process risks, raising safety awareness and improving safe work practices
Plant Operations:
Handling activities right from the conceptualization stage to the execution involving finalizing
technical specifications, scheduling, monitoring progress, planning manpower, etc
Hse
Implementing and enforcing Company Management System policies and procedures in particular
Isolation Standards and PTW
Carry out all operations in safe and environmentally sound manner
Report all discharges, leaks, spills, injuries, and incidents, immediately
Ensure personnel understand and comply with current environmental regulations
Monitor and Record the status of all ESD, Fire and Gas Process Control Safety Defeat Overrides,
ensuring compliance with guidelines and removal at earliest opportunity
Emergency Response
Deputies for Production Superintendent during ER, managing Emergency Response with due regard
for safety of personnel, CPF / Wells and environment.
Demonstrate through exercises and scenarios, knowledge and awareness of emergency response
techniques
Demonstrate knowledge of potential impact of incidents and scenarios on CPF / Wells safety and
security
Contribute effectively to preparation of useful exercises and to post exercise/ incident review and
investigation
Carry out Emergency Response role
Receiving Crude from Remote Degassing Stations, Gas Boot and Slug catcher, Produced water Tank,
Skimmer Tank, Storage Tank Operations. Crude Transfer pumps unit and Trouble Shooting as per Cause
& Effect Logics operated Central Production Facility Capacity of 3,00000 BPD. Actively involved in the
calculations of daily productions, Weekly and monthly reports, Production test, Work sheet, And Work
permit procedures. Chemical Injection System .Handled following Crude Oil injection & Treatment
Chemicals such as pour point Depress and, Demulsifier, Gas phase corrosion inhibitor, Liquid phase
Corrosion inhibitor and water injection chemicals such as Biocide, Oxygen Scavenger, Corrosion
inhibitors, Scale inhibitor, Gas treatment chemical like Glycol.
Operation & control of wells through different headers for optimum production, Oil manifolds, Gas
manifolds, gas lift manifolds, Separator (2 & 3 Phase), Water Disposal pumps, Crude transfer pumps,
chemical transfer pumps, Chemical Injection, Gas/oil line Pigging Operation, Well testing etc. Gas
exports, Routine sampling of Oil, Isolation & De-isolation of Equipment’s vessels & tanks for
maintenance. Familiar with work permit system. Gas testing, Mechanical & Electrical isolation procedures
and co-ordination with maintenance crew, trouble shooting, reporting etc.
The Acid Gas Removal Unit (Unit 162) is designed to remove hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide from
the feed sour gas for Sales Gas production by means of chemical
absorption.
The process scheme selected is UOP Amine Guard TM formulated solvent system which utilizes a
formulated MDEA-based solvent, UCARSOL AP-814.
The treated gas is sent to Dehydration Unit
The flash gas is sent to Fuel Gas System
The acid gas is sent to Sulfur Recovery Unit .
Capacity 1000 Nm3/hr of Foul Acid Gas stripping Refinery sour water rich in H2S, NH3 and CO2 are
treated in sour water stripper. Foul acid gases are routed to sulfur
