Course Description:
This introductory cybersecurity course is designed
for teens, aiming to provide a foundational
understanding of essential cybersecurity concepts
and practices. Students will learn about online
safety, privacy protection, common cyber threats,
and basic strategies to safeguard their digital
presence. For the purpose of involving and
empowering young learners in the field of
cybersecurity, the course will combine theoretical
knowledge with hands-on activities.
Course Outline:
Module 1: Introduction to Cybersecurity
- Understanding the importance of cybersecurity
- Explaining the role of cybersecurity in the digital
age
- Introducing key terms and concepts
-Online Safety Basics
Module 2: Online Safety and Personal Privacy
- Identifying and mitigating risks associated with
online activities
- Strategies for creating strong passwords and
keeping them secure
- Understanding the importance of protecting
personal information online
Module 3: Cyber Threats and Attacks
- Common types of cyber threats (e.g., phishing,
malware, social engineering)
- Recognizing suspicious online behavior and
potential dangers
- How to respond to and report cyber incidents

Module 4: Securing Devices and Networks
- Securing computers, smartphones, and other
devices
- Understanding Wi-Fi security and safe browsing

Note:The course will be taught in a friendly and
approachable manner to encourage student
participation and active learning.
Duration of Course:
The course duration will run for a span of 8 weeks (2
months) where classes will be held 3 (three) times
every week for 2-3 hours on the days selected.
Days:
Monday - from between the hours of 11am - 3pm
Wednesday - from between the hours of 11am - 3pm
Saturday - from between the hours of 10am - 2pm
Exceptions will be given if there is special need by
the student
Each topic will be handled per day making it easier
to conclude our course within the stipulated time
frame.
Task will be given at the end of every module to test
the knowledge gained by our cybersecurity hero.

Training Cost:
The training costs N400,000.00 with a required 70%
initial deposit before commencement of training.
