MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE
Planning & Execution of preventative Maintenance.
Break Down maintenance of critical equipment and provide corrective actions to avoid breakdown.
Maintain & Repair Mechanical equipment like (Rotary equipment such as Pumps, ID/FD Fan,
Gearboxes, Blowers, Screw Compressors and Valves), Centrifuges, Reactors (MSRL, SS,
Brick lined), Mechanical seals, Mono Rails, EOT, Heat Exchangers (Graphite, shell &
tube, PHE), Condensers, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Dryer, Conveyer, Feeder, etc.
Give day to day technical support for breakdown diagnostics & repair
Execution of the engineering project As per P&ID & GA drawing involving Installation,
commissioning & testing of equipment.
Planning for resources and manpower for planned shutdown of the plant and execution including start-up.
Material procurement and maintaining minimum spares for attending breakdown to reduce down time.
Manage Engineering vendor and deliverable equipment& Material to ensure standards and
specifications.
Examine the work of junior and manage control of contractors in area of ownership.
Managing the manpower for the area & assigning specific responsibilities according to their
experiences and skills.
Tool box talk & awareness about safety permit in the system
Co-ordination with various departments for smooth functioning of the equipment by feedback and
suggestions from them.
Guiding & leading the maintenance team and implementing the best maintenance strategy for the plant &
Guiding them for safe path way in work
Streamline standard operating procedures to improve productivity through safety norms
Coordinate with Maintenance Manager and develop improvement strategies for plant.
Improve & update the maintenance program regularly (Daily log sheet, Preventive maintenance & Break
down maintenance)
Maintain up-to-date Data and maintenance procedures of plant.
Preparing estimates for repair& maintenance, installation, and maintenance work.
Documentation of repair and maintenance work for plant & Equipment
