DESCRIPTION
BETAFOAM CLC is a highly active, protein-based lightweight cellular concrete foaming agent. The
production process, which is specially developed for foam stabilization, guarantees optimum foam formation
properties and foam stability as well as the unusual fixed properties of the product. BETAFOAM CLC is
particularly recommended for production processes that require long-term foam stability.
The BETAFOAM CLC is concentrated with specific active ingredients developed for the building material
industry. It is diluted with water and processed with compressed air and foam generator to produce very fine and
stable high quality foam. Dilution of the foam and generator settings are important at this stage.
The BETAFOAM CLC is successfully based on manifold forces during mixing, pumping, casting and
hydration. Foam does not cause any chemical reaction in concrete. It acts only as a wrapping material in which
air is held. It does not produce toxic fumes or emissions throughout its life. The shelf life of BETAFOAM is
guaranteed for 3 years before integration into concrete mixtures.

APPLICATIONS
• Foam insulation is between 250 - 550 kg / m3 and is primarily used for thermal insulation or fire
protection. It only uses cement (or a small amount of sand), water and foam and can be easily pumped
into molds or walls in various directions.
• Foam concrete with density between 600 - 800 kg / m3 is used for filling spaces such as landscaping
(surface or underground construction), filling gaps in the rear of the arch cavities and renewing damaged
sewage systems and producing masonry units.
• Foam concrete between 800 - 900 kg / m3, blocks and balcony railings, partitions, parapets etc. It is
used primarily in the production of other non-bearing structural elements.
• Foam concrete with density between 1100 - 1400 kg / m3 is widely used in prefabricated and bulk walls,
load bearing or unloaded bearings. It can also be used successfully for floor screeds.
• It is recommended to use between 1600 - 1800 kg / m3 foam concrete for plates and other load-bearing
structural elements where high strength is required.

SUGGESTIONS
• Recommended foam weight is minimum 80 gr / kg.
• 600 liters (variable) foam at 100 g / kg
• Recommended sand, washed sand. Crushed Sand can mechanically destroy part of the foam
• The water used in the formation of foam should be clean, if possible, below 25 ° C.
• Recommended Cement is used with all kinds of cement. Portland 52.5 recommended.
• Bubble size Consisting of: approx.: 0.01 - 0.02 mm (10 - 20 microns)

ENVIRONMENT&DISPOSAL
BETAFOAM CLC is readily biodegradable and demonstrates low toxicity to aquatic organisms. It can be
successfully treated in biological waste water treatment systems.

STORAGE
The recommended storage temperature range from -5°C to +50°C. Ensure containers are not directly exposed to
sunlight & heat for a long period. It is unaffected by freeze/thaw cycles. Shelf life of at 3 years can be expected if
it is stored properly in original container
