Neural and social networks can be described as: 1. Neural networks are computational systems modeled after the human brain where a large number of artificial neurons are interconnected. Social networks involve expanding business and social contacts through connections with individuals often using social media. 2. Both neural and social networks involve connections and relationships between individual parts that influence each other as part of a group, with each part having a function that contributes to the whole network. 3. While neural networks are made up of artificial neurons modeled after the human brain, social networks link humans and help maintain common interests, often using social media platforms.

Neural

and Social
Networks
Trends, Networks, and Critical
Thinking in the 21st Century
What is a
Network?
NETWORK
- A relationship structure wherein the
people are able to share resources with one
another and work together to attain
common objectives.
NETWORK
- It can be best described as a work team,
meeting at learners of the same course
and profession, or any group who works
together for a common cause.
KINDS OF NETWORK

1. Human Network
2. Knowledge Network
3. Computer Network
4. Trade Network
5. Ecological Network
Connections
CONNECTIONS

- Connection refers to something that joins

two or more objects or individuals. It also
shows a situation wherein two or more objects
or individuals have a similar cause, goal, or
origin.
Relationships
RELATIONSHIPS

- A relationship refers to the state or

condition of being connected; the way in
which two or more individuals or groups
regard and behave toward one another.
RELATIONSHIPS

-it is the manner by

which two or more
people, associations, or
countries deal with each
and one another.
Neural Networks
NEURAL NETWORKS
-Neural networks (also referred to as connectionist
systems) are a computational approach, which is
based on a large collection of neural units (AKA
artificial neurons), loosely modeling the way a
biological brain solves problems with large clusters of
biological neurons connected by axons.
NEURAL NETWORKS
-It is a computer architecture in which a
number of processors are
interconnected in a manner suggestive
of the connections between neurons in
a human brain.
Social Networks
SOCIAL NETWORKS
- It is the practice of expanding the
number of one’s business and/or social
contacts by making connections
through individuals, often through
social media sites.
SOCIAL NETWORKS
- An individual may be able to
contact another individual
depending on the social media
platform. In other cases,
individuals can contact anyone
they have a connection to, and
subsequently anyone that contact
has a connection to, and so on.
EXAMPLES:
Comparing Neural
Networks with Social
Networks
SIMILARITIES:

- Neural and Social Networks are both

channels for linkage and
interconnection.
SIMILARITIES:

- In both networks, the individual

entities mutually influence each other
as participants in a group.
SIMILARITIES:

- Each part has a function and

contributes to the whole network.
DIFFERENCES:
- Neural Network is a computer system
modeled on the human brain and nervous
system. While Social networking is the practice
of expanding the number of one's business
and/or social contacts by making connections
through individuals, often through social media
sites.
DIFFERENCES:

- While a social network is

made up of humans, a neural
network is made up of neurons.
NEURAL NETWORKS SOCIAL NETWORKS

- modeled the - links people

human brain - maintains comon
- connects nerve interest
cells - use of social media
- artificial networks
Linkage between Social
Networks and Oneself
LINKAGE

- intends to serve members of

both sides according to their
respective needs, interest, and
objectives
LINKAGE

- create bonds together to

solicit support and assistance
for purposeful activities.
LINKAGE BETWEEN SOCIAL NETWORKS AND
ONESELF

- it enables oneself to
communicate and stay up to date
with family and other people
around the world.
LINKAGE BETWEEN SOCIAL NETWORKS AND
ONESELF

- find and join new communities

through social networking sites.
LINKAGE BETWEEN SOCIAL NETWORKS AND
ONESELF

- social networking improves or

maintains connection between
oneself and other individuals.
“How are thinking
processes shaped by
social relationships?”
- Social relationship do affect or influence every
individual thinking process. Because as we
interact with every individual around us, we use
our thinking skill on how are we going to be able
to socialize and fit with their different
characteristics and deal with their different
attitudes.
- We individuals undergo in a process of thinking
first as we socialize and interact with other
people around us.
- Social relationship change the way we think
and act because in this process you will be
influenced by the people around you and
change the way you behave, interact, and think
“How would you rank your
role in the community in
terms of significance?”
Thank you for listening.
