1.0 Objective:

Objective of this document is to have a written down procedure for the commissioning
related activities of Isolated Phase Bus Duct (IPBD) and Generator Circuit Breaker.

2.0 Methodology

Broadly the methodology of the commissioning is as below:


 Checking the completeness of the erection of the equipment and accessories.
 Conducting the pre-commissioning checks of the IPBD with GCB and associated
equipment filling & sign off the checklists (attached) accordingly
 Conducting the commissioning checks of the IPBD with GCB and associated
equipment filling & sign off the checklists (attached) accordingly
 Ensuring upstream & downstream equipments are already commissioned or ready
for commissioning

3.0 Acceptance Criteria

 IPBD & GCB have been commissioned in compliance with checks and tests
mentioned in the attachments

4.0 Attachments:

Following attachments, attached with this document, may be referred for conducting the
pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for IPBD &GCB:
