PROTOPREN 103 SPRAY

Contact spray adhesive, specially suited for good heat resistance bonding of laminated plastic,
metal, Formica, fibre glass with wooden and non-wooden materials; as well as for bonding Sky,
asbestos cement, felt, polyurethane to each other and to the above mentioned materials. Fast-
drying.

Application method:
Clean and degrease the surfaces to be bonded. In case of bonding onto metal, the surface must be
degreased. If oxide is present on the surface it must be removed by grinding.
Mix the adhesive thoroughly before use, and make sure that there is a constant air supply to the
gun of not less than 4/5 atm. Use a 1.5 to 1.9 mm. nozzle and hold the spray gun at a distance of
30 to 50 cm. from the surface to be sprayed. Spray a uniform film of adhesive onto both surfaces.
Let dry for 5’ until it is no longer sticky when touched, then join the materials. Press or roll firmly for
3’. Maximum thermal resistance is obtained 15 days after application of the adhesive.

 Storage : 9 months
 Miscibility with water : no

Danger level:
It contains a highly flammable solvent. Its vapours can explode when present in high
concentrations. Provide adequate ventilation to the work area, avoid any open flames, do not
smoke, beware of sparks.

BEST USED within 9 months of the manufacturing date, if stored in the original tightly sealed
containers, at a temperature of +10°C or above.
