III. Main function of gas holder
1. Operating pressure of inner membrane must be less than 2.0 kPa. And it’s better to keep as follows:
the outer membrane ≤ 600Pa, inner membrane ≤ 2000Pa. The maximum pressure for gas holder
operation is 2000Pa.
2. The gas holder membranes are all environmentally friendly special corrosion-resistant membrane.
It’s preservative, anti-aging, anti-microbial and UV protection and flammability rating B1
level, outside the tensile strength of the film 5500N/ 5cm or more. The inner membrane of the gas
holder is a corrosion-resistant product, which can withstand the long-term corrosion of H2S in the
biogas.
3. The biogas pressure at the outlet of the gas holder is constant, and the gas utilization rate in the
holder can reach 95%.
4. The gas holder is equipped with a reliable safety water seal and pressure relief device to prevent
danger caused by over-pressure inside the gas holder.
5. The gas holder can resist strong wind and heavy snow pressure to ensure the safe operation of the
equipment. The pressurizing device of the gas holder is provided with a check valve at the place
where the air is introduced to prevent the backflow of the inner and outer membrane air.

6. The inspection window on the outer membrane of the gas cabinet makes it possible to understand
the inside of the gas cabinet at any time. The inspection window is composed of 8 mm plexiglass plate
and flange, which is airtight and leak-free. Observe the working state of the gas cabinet through the
observation hole, so that you can understand the gas volume in the gas cabinet at any time.
IV. Operation principle of gas holder
The appearance of the double membrane biogas storage cabinet is 3/4 sphere, which is fixed on the
cement base by the steel rail. The main body is made of specially processed polyester material (mainly
composed of PVDF- polyvinylidene fluoride and special anti-corrosion formula). The tank body is
composed of outer film, inner film, bottom film and auxiliary equipment. It has anti-ultraviolet and
various microorganisms. Ability, high fire resistance and compliance with European standards. An
airtight space with variable capacity is formed between the inner membrane and the bottom membrane
for storage of biogas, and the outer membrane constitutes the spherical shape of the storage
cabinet. Using the constant pressure of the outer membrane intake blower, when the inner membrane
biogas volume decreases, the outer membrane intakes through the blower to maintain the design
pressure of the inner membrane biogas. When the biogas volume increases, the inner membrane
normally stretches, and the outer membrane is redundant by a safety valve The air is discharged so
that the biogas pressure is always constant at a required design pressure. The insulation principle of
the adjustable membrane biogas gas storage cabinet: fill the air between the inner and outer
membranes, which can effectively block the outside cold air from entering.
