Andrew Kibe is a Kenyan content creator based in United States. He is well known for
the Andrew Kibe Show.The show is streamed simultaneously on different online platforms. He
has amassed a large following on his social media platforms and subscription to his channel.
Since the channel's inception in 2014 he has had over a hundred million views. This speaks alot
for a person whose main audience is in Kenya as he uses both English and Kiswahili as his
languages of communication.He has a tall build and is known for his signature look of wearing
caps written 'Kifeee' whilst having a thick black beard .

The main message in his show is reinforcing masculinity and empowering men. He
believes that men have swayed away from what their intended role is in nature and become
'weak'. He therefore is on a mission to remind men why they should embrace their masculinity.
He mostly teaches using his experiences in life and gives lessons from lives of Kenyan male
socialites in the dating scene. He encourages men to build themselves financially so as to have a
good life. He also insists on importance of building good relationship with other men and its
benefits.He also advises women on importance of embracing feminity and being submissive to
the men they are with.Although he empowers men to embrace their masculinity, he has
developed a negative attitude towards women. Many believe behind his message of
empowerement is a man full of hate for women.

Time and again he has shown this by deeming women worthless and believes
they(women) have led to the downfall of many men. He therefore warns men in engaging with
women alot as they are'dangerous creatures'.He has shown that he does not in believe in love
mainly referencing from his past marriage and men who have suffered in marriage. He believes
that men who are in love are slaves in their relationships and men who are in marriage as
prisoners. Therefore such men are 'weak' to him. He has stated that although sex is a human
need, men should not be in relationships in order to access it. He believes that men should work
hard and earn money and then buy sex from women. He therefore brands sex as a commodity
rather than a form of intimacy that is engaged in with people emotionally attached to each other.
This also destroys the whole concept of what leads to the act. He states that a man should not
have female friends for he does not believe there can be any form of relation between man and
woman other than sexual.

He has therefore faced harsh crirticism especially from women due to his ideologies. He
has also been engaged in feuds with alot of the celebrities and some of the politicians in Kenya.
It is believed that he moved to America since he had alot of enemies in Kenya and could
therefore be killed due to his bitter rivalries. The sad truth is that his message has taken course
in many Kenyan men's hearts and many refer to him as their masculine teacher. He has therefore
remained relevant for the past nine years.I believe that he should change his way of teaching
masculinity by not trashing the female gender this is because he is spreading his hate to other
men.It is possible to make your message reach the masses without pointing of fingers to people.
Generalizing the character of a portion of people to be the character of every person is not good.
This in real sense brings out that their is no good only bad. He should therefore seek to teach in a
better way.
