Due to outbreak of Novel Coronavirus-2019 pandemic, Foundation Programmes for Group ‘A’ shall be conducted by National Academy of Indian Railways (NAIR) in a blended manner having both online and few classroom training session. Under normal working circumstances you would have been directed to report to the Director General, National Academy of Indian Railways, Lalbaug, Vadodara 390004 (Gujarat) for joining formalities and training for a period of 14 weeks (Foundation Programme 5 weeks + Field Training 7 weeks + Induction Programme 2 weeks). 3. However, to facilitate your joining in Indian Railways it has been decided that you should report for Field Training (FT) at a Railway Hospital near your present 1location. You are, therefore, directed for Field Training (FT) commencing from 2n4 November, 2020 at Railway Hospitals nearest to your present location which you are required to indicate to NAIR (email [email protected]. [email protected] ) as well as Ministry ( [email protected] ) alongwith the acceptance of the offer through online mode within a week as per the Format-I attached with this letter. 4. For joining formalities please contact National Academy of Indian Railways, (NAIR), Vadodara on email [email protected], [email protected] and follow scrupulously the directions received. In case, at any stage, it is found that any certificate/ document/ testimonial, etc furnished by you and having a bearing on your eligibility is not in order or any information/ material facts having bearing on your eligibility has been suppressed/ misrepresented by you, then your appointment is liable to be cancelled forthwith without prejudice to any other punitive action under relevant rules. You should proceed for the field training only after completing joining formalities (through online mode etc.), on or before 20 October, 2020, with National Academy of Indian Railways (NAIR) and receiving further directions from them, 5. Submission/verification of necessary documents may be completed by 20.10.2020, so as to enable your reporting to the Railway Hospitals in person on 02.11.2020. In this regard, the date of reporting in person for Field Training shall be date of your joining service. 6. Offer of appointment of candidates who after submission/verification of documents through online mode to NAIR, do not report for Field Training at the Railway Hospital, as advised by NAIR, is liable to be cancelled in terms of DoP&I’s OM No. 35015/2/93-Estt.(D) dated 09.08.1995. No request for extension in joining time for Field Training will be entertained. Only justified cases supported with documentary proof will be considered for grant of extension in joining time which will be subject to DoP&I’s OM No. 35015/2/93-Estt(D) dated 09.08.1995 and the same will not be granted as a matter of right. In your own interest you should pursue your request for extension in joining time. Non-receipt of letter through online mode granting extension in joining time or non-receipt of any type of communication from Ministry of Railways in this regard, etc. will not be considered as a reason for not joining and subsequently requesting for revival of offer. In terms of DoP&I’s OM No. 35015/2/93-Estt(D) dated 09.08.1995, the offer of appointment lapses after expiry of six months from the date of offer of appointment. (not from the date of reporting for Field Training) (in this case offer would lapse automatically on 31.03.2021)7. Field Training at Railway Hospital nearest to your location shall be part of Foundation Course and would in no way be treated as your Zonal Allocation.Zonal Allocation shall be finalized as per procedure in due Course. 9. You are required to submit your original rotatory internship certificate to the Director General, National Academy of Indian Railways, Vadodara at the time of reporting for Foundation Course training. Presently you can submit the same online to NAIR for the purpose of Field Training. In the event of your failure to produce internship certificate, clearly indicating that you have completed one year’s internship, at the time of reporting to the National Academy of Indian Railways, you shall not be allowed to join Railway Service. In addition, you are also required to produce all the original certificates while reporting at the Training Institute after completion of Field Training. 10. If you claim to belong to SC or ST or OBC category, you may please note that “the appointment is provisional and is subject to the caste/tribe certificate being verified through the proper channels and if the verification reveals that the claim to belong to SC or ST or OBC or not to belong to creamy layer of OBC, as the case may be, is false, your services shall be terminated forthwith without assigning any further reason and without prejudice to such further action as may be taken under the provisions of the Indian Penal Code for production of false certificates”, 11. If you are already serving in any Organization, you must produce ‘No Objection’ Certificate’ from the employer under whom you are serving (currently through online mode). 12. Your continuance in Railway service shall be subject to your character and antecedents being found satisfactory by Police/District Authorities. 13.
