The one-day
national conference commenced with an inaugural session that included
addresses by distinguished personalities in the field. The guest speaker
Prof.Dr.Tirupati Rao , professor of English, Dravadian university spoke to
participants and it was indeed an interactive exchange of ideas and viewpoints,
enabling participants to gain a holistic understanding of the topic called
‘’Paradigms in Reading Literature’’. He argued that there is no single way to
read literature, and that different paradigms can offer different insights into a
text. He also discussed the importance of understanding the cultural context of a
text in order to fully appreciate it . On the whole his speech was splendid with
practical real life examples which made participants to get to know in a
different perspective on the topic. After a keynote address, the conference also
provided a platform for young researchers and students to showcase their work
through paper presentations. This segment encouraged knowledge
dissemination and networking among participants, as they had the opportunity
to discuss research ideas and findings. Our II M.A. English students were also
provided a great opportunity of presenting papers on various topics and with
good confidence level they all presented well along with other fellow paper
presenters from various colleges. As the conference drew to a close, participants
left with a renewed sense of enthusiasm and an expanded perspective on the
theme, ready to apply the insights gained to their respective fields of work. The
success of this conference sets a promising precedents for future academic
gatherings aimed at fostering interdisciplinary discussions and collaboration.
Their dedication and engagement played a pivotal role in making this
conference a memorable and intellectually enriching experience for all
involved. I am grateful to Asst.Prof. U.Kamesh for accompanying with both II
M.A. English students and I B.A. English students and for his great support and
guidance overthere in a conference and I extend my gratitude to both Heads of
UG , PG and Research Department of English who allowed us to attend and to
present our research papers in the conference and for the arrangement of college
bus with free travel expense. We request and look forward for these kind of
more opportunities for a great intellectual exposure which will direct and
encourage students who already are and who wants to become an
epistemophilic for lifetime .
